Random TO thoughts. . . 

It’s so important to be that Freya and Klaus are both paranoid little lunatics fighting over scraps of love and trying to find a place, except Klaus actually has a place and now he’s more solid in it than ever?

So it’s an interesting dynamic due to how solid the family is rn- the only reason Elijah has ever turned against Klaus for realsies was because of Rebekah so I think Freya is going to use either Hope/Hayley or Rebekah to play Elijah and Klaus off each other. I genuinely don’t see how she’d turn Rebekah from Klaus, the best she can manage is make Klaus THINK Rebekah is more interested in Freya/Marcel/Others. 

Klaus will unravel this family himself, he’s a bomb waiting to go off Freya is just going to press the trigger. EXCEPT it’s always been in Klaus’ head, his family always forgives him so we know there’s no long term fuckery ramifications. So we’ll get lots of high emotional drama without having to really worry. Lovely.

Ahhhh it’s so great the writers have FINALLY really nailed the characterisation. TVD S4 would have integrated Freya into the family for real and I would have flown into the sun in my bitterness. Now it’s exactly like I’d always hoped, Freya knowing Klaus will never fucking trust her. Amazing.
