Just another event for her to pretend to be someone’s girlfriend, in that case actually she acted as a fiancée. She actually had to sign papers that she wouldn’t be leaking any possible information to anyone, something about that being people from mafia or something. Elisa wouldn’t mess that up for sure, after all it was only a paper she signed but she was sure if she ever put anyone in any trouble they would find her. Maybe she shouldn’t have taken that job, but well they paid her really well. A lot more than her usual offers, so she decided to take the risk. It would be only one night anyway, it didn’t matter. Standing near the man she was with that night her eyes wandered in the place only to land on a familiar face. An old costumer, she hadn’t seen him in some good months. A small smirk spread on her lips before she quickly covered it with the glass of the drink she was having, taking a sip and nodding to whatever that man was mumbling.

Maybe she should have gone to the police station. But she knew it would be useless, they would look at her and they would quickly assume she was a prostitute and they wouldn’t take her cry for help the way it should be. There was no other place to go than to her best friend’s house. They lived near and during the night no one seemed bothered by the woman that didn’t walk but limp through the sidewalks. Just a little more she would get there. 

Her body was aching, her mouth tasted like iron because of the blood there and she could feel the spot swollen. Her arms were covered by bruises as well as her face. It was a mess, she sure would need some time to recover from that. Finally being able to push the bell she waited for him to open the door, curling her body a little because of the pain. There wasn’t much for Julian to do really, he wasn’t a doctor, but she didn’t want to be alone either after what happened. It was normal for some clients to get a little jealous, out of control, to think they were in an actual relationship. She would immediatly cut them off, but that one went farther than any other when he grew aggressive and resulted on beating her up. Men sure could be disgusting, trying to destroy what they couldn’t have.
