After almost two and a half years of writing about actresses, representation, the image industry and politics, we are so happy to share our film A Woman, A Part our film’s theatrical release in NYC. This project inspired and epitomizes the mission of our blog by making a film by and about women on both sides of the camera. Starring Maggie Siff (Billions, Sons of Anarchy, Mad Men), the film tracks the life of a burnt out, Ritalin-addicted LA television actress who walks off the set of her sexist TV series and flies back home to try to heal old relationships and reinvent herself outside of the corporate film industry.
