Betsy couldn’t help but laugh at his observation. Combing back the long strands of her hair with one hand, she relaxed back into her own seat and placed down the smart phone on her lap. “Have faith, dear Ice Man,” she drawled with a smirk. “Perhaps the mansion is in shambles, though I am willing to double that you’re wrong,” she giggled. “Otherwise, if I am wrong, I’ll proudly pay you…unless you’re willing to up the stakes?” she trailed off, coyly smiling as she crossed her arms over her chest.

Bobby had kept an ear on their conversation while finding the atmosphere outside his window passively interesting, examining the clouds that were cut by the jet wing as they flew past.  As much as he enjoyed being out and about, the morning had been long and he couldn’t wait to settle into something that at least had cushions on it.  But then, Braddock was saying something about stakes, in particular upping them; his brows raised with his interest as he turned his head to look at her over one shoulder, a curious expression overtaking his features.

“Go on,” he urged, being no stranger to taking risks.  “What are we betting with?”

Boredom completely took over, as she stared at the pencil that stood upright and began to slowly drill into the table. She was waiting for one that she was sent to work alongside with to help stop a potential mutant problem. It was too late for her to release the power she had when the door opened, as her head shot up, and the pencil fell and rolled to the ground. {*I figured why not? lol!}

One of these days, he was going to regret volunteering for special missions. Sooner or later his overzealousness might get him killed. After a quick running of his fingers through his hair, Boromir cautiously entered the room. "Hi. Are you Elisabeth Braddock?"

Thank you, thank you :3 I actually loved that dress so much. It was also actually my dad that picked it out so....yet another reason he is my favorite person ever

Though looking at these photos again I do wonder why I don't wear more red....
