“Aw, c’mon, Jeanie.  It’s not like I’m going anywhere, right?”  Still, as Bobby adored to be hugged, and of course he adored hugs from this particular redheaded telepath, he coiled his chilly arms around her and pressed a chaste kiss to her temple.  “You smell kinda different. What are you wearing?”

So I’ve been bogged down with work, lol.  But I’mma see if I can churn out some replies today.

Lol okay so.

They got the school out of Limbo, which is what everyone was expecting to happen.  But somewhere along this line, someone thought it was the greatest idea ever to slap it smack dab in the middle of Central Park.  There’s so much wrong with this plan lol, not the least of which is that it’s a pretty centralized location for things that hate them and want to rampage (sentinels being a prime example).

There wasn’t anything wrong with their old location, imo.  No need to fix what ain’t broke.

Bobby processed the information quickly in his mind.  Well, even if it had been trapped, losing a limb wasn’t anything much to worry about for the ice mutant, but he supposed he’d rather not have to rebuild limbs unnecessarily.  So, accepting his assignment, he pushed himself up to his feet and walked toward the door, turning to face the hall.

“Whatever it is, we’re probably gonna get company soon.  Hope the DSL in this dump isn’t AT&T.”

He wasn’t in the habit of getting close to someone with Daken’s reputation, but since they had all just survived certain death, a little finger slippage wasn’t going to hinder anything much.  “Yeah, you say that now.  And where were you hiding out all this time?  There’s no way you didn’t know about any of this.”
