The thing they don’t tell you about getting to have moments of real deep friendship for the first time is that you dont even get to truly appreciate it in the moment. because it feels like the most natural thing in the world

The only things getting me through the final week of my summer semester is listening to Michael Jackson or playing Disney movies. MJ really calms my nervous system and Disney makes me happy. Take summer college classes to stay on schedule they said. It'll be fine they said 😒
It’s mrs paint now actually

Is it just me or do you guys also have like 5 WIPS on rotation because it's impossible to just stick to one fic😭
Theory: men take so long to shit because they don’t eat enough vegetables to get a normal amount of dietary fiber
Rant abt misgendering
My friends are great and tbf I don’t enforce pronouns At All bc I primarily use they/she but it kinda hurts that they lean so hard into “girls night!!! Night with the girly girls and no one else!!!! Only girls at this outing!!!!” including my friend who literally told me I seem like a they/she when she met me and then never actually used them on me when I told her that I actually use any pronouns. And my partner is always like “you’re my pretty girl!! You’re so cute and pretty!!!” which I appreciate the sentiment of but he KNOWS I’m not girly and don’t like being treated like it except in very specific circumstances.
Like ik I don’t really present enby (or maybe I do, bc I dress almost exclusively in jeans and graphic tees and own literally zero pink clothing) but I kinda wish any of my friends other than my roommate actually respected my pronouns. Ik they love me and all but it just makes me feel so alienated when I’m treated like a Girl™️ and try to get me to let them put makeup on me and all that (which I allowed once for a drag show but that was a special circumstance and I was clear about that). It’s primarily one friend who is so so so nice and such a good friend but doesn’t really get that hyperfemininity doesn’t appeal to me At All. But over time all my other friends have just fallen into doing the same thing. And I was DEFINITELY treated like a girl by the group of guys I used to be friends with.
Like they want so badly for me to be something I’m just not and I feel out of place and misunderstood and like I’m just letting them down by not wanting to join the Girl Bonding Activities. But they’ve known me for years so I feel like it’s too late for me to do anything about it. Generally with work and things like that I don’t really bother with it but I feel like I might be allowed to want that with my close friends. They used to do the “just the girls!! And Elise.” But they stopped doing that too. Which idk how I feel about that bc I hate the way that that phrasing alienates me but at least they acknowledged that I’m not a girl.
Idk maybe it’s on me. I don’t really enforce it or voice my opinion on it other than just how I refer to myself casually so maybe it’s my fault. But I’ve known them long enough now that I don’t think I can start. Idkkkk
Is it Required that I have crazy PMS on vacation. Do I have to do that. I would like to not hate everyone if that’s ok
