David was taking yet another sip from his whiskey in an attempt to drown the severe heartache and physical pain he was in from getting into a fight . He told himself not to ever drink again a long time ago but it seemed to be the only escape from his messy thoughts right now when chugging down another sip of the burning liquid. No matter how hard he was trying, he couldn't get his mind off her. It had been the longest time in months in which he hadn't seen her because he skipped school and went to bars instead and even though it hadn't even been that much time since she broke up with him, he felt like he was missing her more with every sip he took. At one point that antagonizing feeling took over him, causing him to eventually text her which only had been a mistake in his mind but he did as instructed, waiting for her at the same spot when wiping away some blood from his lip.
