He hardly knew what had possessed him to move the lock of hair from Runaan’s face, but there he was, his hand just inches from the now on-edge elf, blinking at his own strange instinct.

“Sorry....your braid must have come undone. I was going to.... I didn’t think. Sorry.” To apologize to an elf, how peculiar his life had become.

“I think it’s rather absurd, really. For me to remove all of your shackles would be violating....maybe three laws. And I’m not much of a criminal.” He grinned slightly, removing his glove and wiggling his fingers. “But you see, proof of five fingers. I could take off my boot too, but I’ve been travelling, and I’m sure my feet are ripe.”

He knelt before the elf, examining his face.

“You don’t look like you’re in pain. What’s your play here?”

               her nose crinkled in an anger which was probably a tad overdramatic. then again, that’s what happens when you leave a wicker basket full of desserts unguarded on the forest floor, even if it’s just for a minute. thus, claudia learned this lesson the hard way.

Soren swings his blade again despite the pain he was in. He had missed once before and due to the pain he was in. He tried again. Soren was in no condition to fight his opponent. Which is seen by him as a failure. How the hell was he supposed to protect anyone if he can’t fight an assassin?

His leg and ribs screamed in protest when he tried again. There was no way he was going to just give in like that.

🔥 + scratching

Corvus loves getting his back scratched by his partner. During sex, it adds a sense of heat, and passion, and urgency. It tells him that he’s doing a good enough job of things to remove some of the other person’s filters. But he also loves it in a non-sexual situation, he enjoys the sensation and the relief that comes along with it.
