Soren’s grip tightened on his sword. When it talked, he immediately stumbled backwards dramatically, “Uh--you, you talk?” He asked, still his sword was in his grasp but he didn’t look like he was about to attack anymore

Over the time spent with the two siblings, she had grown accustomed to training with Soren. They sparred frequently with Callum cheering her on, and Claudia rooting for her brother. The number of times she had bested him by sweeping the leg finally got him interested enough to learn. All in all, they had a good rapport after all of the messy misattributed facts were gone through.

“It’s not just any knife… it’s an elite assassin’s weapon. You have to take care in sharpening it because of the curved blade. One wrong move, and you’re looking at a nice family heirloom, and nothin’ else.”

“You must be good if you have this then.” Soren complimented. He felt compelled to sharpen his sword for the tenth time today. Always thinking it’s not sharp enough for him. Even though, it was exactly the opposite. He wanted his sword to cut through anything and anyone standing in his way.

“Ah, then I won’t touch it then. I tend to go overboard with the sharpening. So, I’ll just give this back to you.”
