Life’s turning out to be a pretty good time at the moment. Just finished up on a movie where I get to snog Jeremy Irvine, and now a movie that I produced and starred in last year is finally being released - the reviews for it have been grand so far. Not to mention that my girlfriend has another career defining movie coming out this month, too, because she cannae get enough of it. And to top it all off, this weekend just gone we climbed some more Munros to tick off our list. It turns out setting a goal of climbing 282 mountains can be quite time consuming. Since I’ve been working on the Loki TV show, I’ve had to go clean shaven for the first time in a good few years, and... it feels very weird. I never thought I’d miss having a beard so much, but here we are. I sort of can’t wait for it all to be over so I can grow the beard back. When I first grew it, some fans in China referred to it as “kiwi fruit-like”, which, I suppose, is quite a compliment. Anyway, hello, darlings. If you didn’t already know - which is totally fine - I’m Tom. Or Thomas, as my mother still frequently calls me. Or Tommo, or Tommy, or Tomothy, or Tom-Tom, or… I have a lot of nicknames, and those are just the ones that have evolved from my first name. @elitehqstarters​

So, yesterday was New Year’s Eve, which I guess is cool and stuff. But, you know what else happened? The final season of ‘Chilling Adventures or Sabrina’ dropped on Netflix. If anyone watched it, I need to know everything you thought about it and if you haven’t -- I highly suggest you do. It’s our best one yet. @hollywoodelitehq​

Are you ever so used to being super busy, that when you think you haven’t been busy at all, you look back and you’re like “but wait, I did this, and that, and this thing I did is about to come out?” Because I feel like that’s what this year has been like for me. I had a book announcement, movie, and song come out all within the space of a few weeks, and now I’m thinking maybe I’m not sitting on my ass as much as I think I am. I am one of those people that will read the whole IMDb trivia page whilst watching a film or TV show, because clearly just enjoying the thing itself isn’t enough for me, I love hearing about the behind the scenes. And today I was reading about the X Files episode that’s regarded by almost everybody as the worst, including the director of the episode. He hated it to the point where he had t-shirts printed for everybody afterwards with the episode title and “survivor” written on them. I can’t get enough of hearing things like that. Give me behind the scenes trivia all day every day, please. And also tell me that I’m not alone in this need to read all the IMDb trivia pages. @elitehqstarters​

when you’re just casually scrolling your FYP on tiktok and you see someone bringing up the time i was on Degrassi. ah yes, it’s true every Canadian teen has been on Degrassi at some point in their lives.

Even though my album is out it, it still sucks that I can’t go out and perform it on stage. Maybe I’ll end up doing one of those virtual shows just to feel something. Anyway, I am looking forward to Thanksgiving. Mainly for all the food I can devour in one day.
