Okay okay, i'll explain now:
The priest demon Ryuu (the on who's carrying Mari), he's also an exorcist, saved Mari (a human), who was going to be sacrificed to a demon by his town. He keeped her until he can let her on trustworthy people's hands. He travels with her, exorcising demons lol.
On one of his travel he visits a ghost town, it was actually a "sacrifice factory" before, it's exactly as it sounds. They raise children (some adopted, some made artificially) to become sacrifices to demons or other entitys. That's where they meet Olly and Ellie.
Olly was some kind of perfect sacrifice (known as maiden for somewhat reason), aaaand, Ellie was a demon. Created somehow artificially by the same sacrifice factory. They were investigating some things and well, used the children as experiments.
They made Ellie eat a demon's heart, making him into a demon too. He ate everyone there except Olly, his big brother.
Anyways they remained there (Olly fed Ellie his blood and human food as a diet), until Ryuu found them and then started to travel all together.
Olly keeps Ellie on his track, since he's unstable and tried to eat both Ryuu and Mari-

To me, it's interesting story if you imagine it. Maybe someday i'll actually draw it. 👌🏻
