wait, am i missing something? where does it mention her being preggos or miscarrying? see also interesting parallel in ex. 32 — maybe Sinai was marriage covenantish? sry just rando thoughts that were stirred up.
Verse 27: "If she has made herself impure and been unfaithful to her husband, this will be the result: When she is made to drink the water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering, it will enter her, her abdomen will swell and her womb will miscarry, and she will become a curse."
I think you are on about Exodus 32. The prophets are constantly depicting the relationship between God and the people as marriage; Hosea even married a prostitute (adulteress?) as a symbolic act against their unfaithfulness to God.

see see! this is what i mean! ppl have a weird relationship with the word “heretic”. someone should write a book about the history of the word heresy. i’m gonna go resurrect Jaroslav Pelikan and tell him to hop to it.
I fully support this.

When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance.
