For those who want more context on her (under the cut):
She appears first in Yu-Gi-Oh season 0/manga's school arc as a primary antagonist/villain to Yugi and co.
She is based off of Red Eyes Black Dragon and is meant to be her reincarnation. Her and Jounouchi mirror Kaiba and Kisara - however, whereas Kaiba and Kisara were actually in love, her and Jounouchi simply struck a soul contract in order to grant Jounouchi victory and glory during battles based on luck.
"The Blue Eyes White Dragon represents victory, while the Red Eyes Black Dragon represents only the potential. However, when you have courage, that potential will always shine through."
This is why her and Jounouchi have some tension and feelings between them initially before Kaiba and her become the main "relationship" (fraudship). It's thanks to Jounouchi that she manages to see "light" and realizes the gravity of what she'd been doing.
Her outfit in the main appearance (during the school arc) is symbolic. Despite her character colour being black/purple/red, she is wearing green. Green represents envy, jealousy and greed + money = she is an extremely insecure, bitter & hate-filled person
She hates people who have more than she does.
She hates people who are better than her in terms of personality, wealth and social standing. Which is why she is driven to cruelty and sadism (at first)
The crown of roses are artificial, fake - they show how shallow and superficial she is and how she is only pleasant on the outside rather than on the inside. Later, the roses' meaning transform into love and passion. The white represents bits of purity left in her and how she hasn't completely lost her soul.
She is the Queen of Diamonds, whereas Kaiba is the King of Spades. She is intellectual and strategic, and driven towards financial abundance and stability. Kaiba, on the other hand, is authorative and powerful and perfectly highlights their playing styles.
In the first act, she gambles with other students in order to obtain their valuables and money before ultimately they end up in such humongous debt that they drop out of school in order to work and pay it off. She notices Yugi's Millenium Puzzle and pretends to get along with him and his group in order to get her hands on it, but later she can't maintain her façade and snaps, almost choking Yugi to death with it so she can steal it and sell it.
She doesn't succeed because Anzu intervenes, but later on Atem challenges her to a Shadow Game and she tells him that she had been expecting something of the sort (as she has noticed the way his personality switches).
"People are willing to bet their souls over everything and anything, as long as they think it's important or profitable. I'm no different. I'm willing to put my life on the line, Yugi! I hate this reality! Unless you're rich, you're nothing! Let's duel!"
They play a game of War (card game largely based on luck), where each time a war occurs and someone loses it, their body Parts begin to deteriorate and rot away. In the end, Yugi manages to pull an ace and ends the last battle, having her "turn" into a puddle of flesh.
