"My darling," he said, "You will never be unloved by me; you are too well entangled in my soul."
I lost the yarn chicken game this time :(
After failing the yarn chicken with the blue wool and it being years out of sale, I adapted the pattern of my first Tunesien crochet project. I repeated the pattern in the opposite colours backwards and came out with yarn to spare, yay!
Now I have a lot of ends to weave in, because for Tunesien crochet I don't know yet how to carry yarn, which is how I usually avoid the end weaving.
The grey end also seems to be slightly narrower than the blue. Not sure if I dropped a stitch or if my tension changed. This is why I chose a scarf as my first project :D
I never posted the socks I made for another friend's daughter's first birthday (pattern). On that occasion I learned that her first word had been socks :D
I never really saw the point of doing amigurumi, but now me and some friends are doing an animal mobile thingy for another friend's soon to be born child. And omg the toes on this cat. Look:
It's from a free pattern available here.
I got inspired by stained class art I recently saw on Tumblr to get into window color again. I ended up doing it on hard mode because I refused to buy 25 colours, because I assumed you can just mix everything out of yellow, magenta, and cyan. And then I bought ultramarine instead of cyan lol
I also got me some white, black, clear, gold and silver.
So far I have this:
These are my learning process ones while I figure out how the mixed colours come out and how not to do super thick lines...
I only noticed something wrong with the pattern after having already put some light green in an area where it probably doesn't go:
They're using the same symbol twice for very different colours! Argh!
I have been going only with the pattern and not the print on the fabric because there are too many similar colours next to each other and the print isn't aligned with the grid entirely. But I did notice that I was putting in a light colour where there didn't seem to be any light print around.
I'll take out the light green again and leave the S symbol till the end and then decide where which of the two colours should go.
