I love the fact that like, one initially thinks Grandma Ella is Grandma because she is the elder dog, and then you post pictures of her as a young dog and nope, she's just Grandma-coded and always has been. That dog came out of the womb knitting and a bowl of boiled sweets on her sideboard

for the first two years I had her she was sort of insane and terrier-y but this plwas partially because I knew almost nothing about dogs to be honest. once she reached like... not even middle age but like the equivalent of being 20 human years old she was just like "bedtime is 8pm forever"

although actually she has always thought bedtime was 8 pm even when she was obsessively bringing me toys to tug with as a baby
