The North Remembers --> [Ellanor]

The last dream had been disturbing. Elinor was still not used to these strange dreams. She didn’t understand what they meant. Having grown up the superstitious type, she had always thought that dreams meant something but how could they possibly when everyone experienced the same one? How could they when her children were not really her children, besides Merida, but figments of her imagination.
Or were they?
Elinor had taken her lunch in the park and was looking for a bench to sit and read at when she saw a little girl. A little girl, as if from a dream. Glancing around, Elinor saw the girl’s mother. She looked more or less the same as she had in the dream, though not wearing furs or deep blue.
She wasn’t sure what to do. It probably was not polite to bring up joint hallucinations, but also--she was a bit curious. So, she moved closer and sat down on the bench next to the one that the woman was at.
“Is that your daughter?” she asked, pointing to the girl who was a few feet away. “She’s darling. I remember when mine was that small,” Elinor said with a wistful smile.
