Hi guys! This is a piece I did on Ella Roberta who passed away at the age of nine due to a severe and rare case of Asthma believed to have been caused by air pollution. The piece was featured in the Oct/Nov issue of the Lewisham Ledger but still available to read online. 💚 Ella's Mother Rosamund Adoo Kissi-Debrah has been fighting tirelessly to raise awareness of the dangers of air pollution and asthma in London. She has also been fighting a legal battle for a fresh inquest into the cause of Ella's death, which is believed to have been due to unlawful levels of air pollution. 💚 The news came in at the weekend that Rosamund has won the right to seek a new inquest after the attorney general quashed the original inquest in to Ella's death following new evidence. 💚 I know so many of my friends and family have young children and their safety is paramount to them. So it is important that Ella's story gets the spotlight and the support it so desperately deserves.
