Not a request but.. Hello i was living peacefully before stumbling upon your Tumblr, like reading fan fiction (yours is soo good btw!) and being generally ok. but then I found all the GIFs and pictures on your blog like .how am I supposed to function now knowing there are so many dresses with plunging necklines that Meryl wore?? Now I want to watch all these films and draw the fck out of them >_< instead of doing things I should be doing. •_____•
the amount of décolletage meryl has showed over the years and my gayness have a direct correlation :/
ALSO ! Sketch away!!! No one here will ever be mad about more art to admire (and how can anhthing be more important than drawing meryl??) and ty for the compliment!! If you ever have a req let me know and I’ll try to make it happen x

How would Moira Rose meeting with Miranda go? Established Mirandy
“I can’t find mom,“ Alexis remarked dryly, surprise decidedly absent from her tone.
“Yeah, I know,” David said, not looking up from his phone. “She slipped away from us about ten minutes ago.”
“Oh my god,” his sister replied.
Andy, who had been browsing in the Chanel store quietly, waiting for Miranda and the twins to return from the changing rooms, couldn’t help but overhear the man and woman on the aisle over. Curse her mid-western sensibilities, but she couldn’t not go over and try to see if they were okay. They were both attractive people, in Andy’s opinion, the young woman, a touch younger than her perhaps, with her wavy hair and pretty eyes, and the dark features of the young man with his neat hair.
“Hi, I’m sorry to bother you both but I overheard you before. Are you both alright?”
Neither of them smiled at her, which was not unusual in New York, but they didn’t turn up their noses like some did either. Andy counted it as a win.
“Oh, mom’s always like this. We’ll just head back to the hotel room soon if she doesn’t reappear.”
Andy was appalled but kept it well hidden. The two strangers were definitely adults, so it’s not like their mother had abandoned children, but to just disappear on them like this? It was unthinkable.
“I see,” Andy said, though she didn’t see at all.
“Dammit,” the young woman said, “Mom has my purse with her.” Andy frowned.
“I didn’t bring my wallet because you said not to bother,” the man replied. Andy’s frown deepened.
“Well, I can definitely help you both home of you’d like?” Miranda might not talk to her the rest of the day because she had to ride with twostrangers, but she couldn’t just leave these people in the middle of the fashion district of New York. It was unthinkable. So was leaving your children, but Andy didn’t dare say that.
“If it’s not too much trouble,” the woman said with a perfectly pleasant smile. “I’m Alexis and this idiot is David.”
“Not at all,” Andy beamed. “and I’m Andrea, but everyone calls me Andy,” she introduced, shaking their hands genially. “The only person that calls me anything different is my wife-“
“Andréa,” that silky voice intoned. Andy turned to see twin twelve-year-olds and her wife, with a curiously dressed woman that was following them.
“Mom?” Andy watched as the strange blonde woman waved away the confused question and turned to Miranda.
“Children, you’ll never guess who I made friends with,” the stranger said, with a voice not dissimilar to Miranda’s but certainly lacking thegravity her wife managed. “Can you imagine, little town us bumping into big city royalty!”
“Well, ‘we’ would have but you gave us the slip, like, fifteen minutes ago,” David sassed. Andy bit her tongue and held out her hands to Cassidy and Caroline, who moved quickly away from the blonde and to her sides, Mirandanot far behind.
“Andréa, this woman has been following us since we left the change rooms,” Miranda sniffed offendedly. “She exhausts me. Distract her and the girls and I will slip away to the car, please make sure she doesn’t follow us,”Miranda said, kissing Andy on the cheek and turning to the eccentric woman, whowas telling her children something about the mark of a good mother. (Andy quietly mused that she wouldn’t know what good mothering was if it nipped her in the ass).
“Alexis, won’t you introduce me to your mom?” Andy said, catching the woman in question’s attention. She was wearing some dramatic black dress with folds everywhere. She looked like a widow in fake mourning who had killedher husband. Andy didn’t think too hard on wear Alexis and David’s father was.
“Moira Rose,” the woman intoned, holding out her hand daintily. “Are you Miranda’s assistant?”
“If I don’t leave now, I’m going to commit a murder and I have far too much to do next week to be put in jail,” Miranda hissed into her ear. Andy gulped and nodded discretely.
“No, Ms Rose. I’m her wife,” Andy explained as kindly as she could, spying Alexis and David grinning at her, probably glad to not be thecentre of the woman’s attention. “I’m every bit as fashionable as she is, though, and I know exactly the thing for you,” she said hurriedly, guiding the blonde – Moira Rose – away and to a particularly maze-like section of the store.
“I had always thought fashion was for me but then my husband had to go and buy a town and well, now we’re up Schitt’s Creek so to say,” Moira tittered. Andy huffed a fake laugh and nodded, eyeing the perfect corner to lose Moira in, noting that Alexis and David were shadowing them so they didn’t lose their mother again. Four more steps, a nudge to Moira so her eyes caught something frilly, and she hightailed it out of the store, waving to Alexis and David as she speed walked.
Roy was waiting on the curb, breaking about twenty parking laws as he did. She wasted no time in slipping into the silver car, greeting the girls and Miranda once she was in and buckled up. Only when Roy pulled away from thecurb did Miranda speak.
“What a horrible woman,” she began. “She was only in my presence for two seconds before she offered to teach me how to slip away from Caroline and Cassidy. It was her trademark move, she said,” Miranda frowned, patting thegirls’ heads as they shared a Gameboy.
“Her kids were pretty lax,” Andy commented, leaning closer to Miranda.
“I didn’t like her a bit,” Miranda announced. “I hope to never meet her again.”
“Cheers to that,” Andy sighed.
.oOo.
Okay, so I’d never heard of Moira Rose until this ask when I googled her and youtubed a clip of her and Yikes lmao
I don’t think Miranda would like her at all, what with her melodrama and theatrics and her appalling sense of parenting...
Anyway I have no idea who these characters are so sorry if they’re not very accurate :)))
