Daiso Ellefar Peeling Gel

The Ellefar peeling Gel or ‘Water Pack Jelly’ as on the packaging, is a gel exfoliant sold at Daiso for $2.80 AUD. What’s fun about this exfoliant is that after rubbing it into the skin, dead skin coagulates into balls. It’s both interesting and disgusting at the same time! I can’t read Japanese and the only English on the packaging was a warning to stop use if irritation is experienced and the ingredient list. Hence, I’m not entirely sure if I’m using the product correctly.

How to use:

Cleanse the face as per usual

Pat dry your face, ensuring that the skin is damp but not wet

Apply about a 20 cent coin size amount onto the face and rub gently

Wash off dead skin and excess product

Repeat a second time in necessary

What’s the verdict?

I have used Cure Natural Aqua Gel before, and comparing Ellefar to Cure, of course Cure is still number 1. Cure takes less pressure when rubbing the product onto the skin, is quicker to work and uses less product. Cure, is also a lot more watery whereas Ellefar is a genuine gel. Ellefar requires more pressure on the skin or a lot of time and patience for good amounts of dead skin to be lifted off the face. It also requires more product. Despite this, Ellefar is not a bad alternative. I’ve gone through about 4 tubes of it now; each tube lasts around 2-3 months depending on how much you exfoliate. If you are patient enough and have normal to oily skin, getting rid of lots of dead skin may not be so much of an issue. As I have very dry skin, I can become quite flaky. I use this exfoliant twice a week, maximum, and complete step 5 when doing so. I find that after using Ellefar once gets rid of some dead skin, whilst doing it a second time completely refreshes your skin of gunk and leaves it supple and ready for your serums or moisturisers.

All in all, Ellefar is a much cheaper alternative to Cure especially for those who cannot get their hands on Cure so easily. With patience, Ellefar can work equally as well and gently rubbing your face can be almost therapeutic after a long day.

Saizen: Ellefar Pearl in Eyeshadow in Natural Brown!~

Saizen is a gold mine of cute, cheap and truly fun stuff! The store never fails to amaze me with their wide variety of goods :> Tralalalala~ I passed by the store and I wanted to have a brown eyeshadow palette~ so tadaa I got one!

If you take a dark color eye shadow with the chip and put it the edge of your eye as the eye line, it makes you cool and smart feeling. And then if you put the bright color one all on your eyelid, it makes you vivid and shiny feeling.

Attention of the use: If something happen the trouble on your skin using them, please stop use them.

^Well I think they should really hire someone to write for them~ Someone who could make clearer sentences in English :))

The black base of the packaging makes it look sleek and not cheap, so great move! The plastic is not that thick so I think a fall may break it~ I have not tried dropping this though cause I'm afraid that it would shatter :<<

The shadows look pretty decent on the packaging which is the first reason why I bought it~

Pearl in Eye Shadow~ Meaning it would shimmer baby!

They are rounded when newly opened :) so cute!

After a number of uses :> kekeke~ now it's beginning to become flat XD I don't have a problem with these really! Not 

Arm swatches of the shadows :D I think it's the perfect colors to achieve a natural and a smoky look! The colors swatch the same as how it looks like on the shadow!!!!!! :D :> AWESOME color payoff!

The included sponge tip is not to shabby too! Don't need to bring brushes along when in travel!~

Now let's be a good consumer and follow the makeup tip on the box using the palette! :D

I used my eyeshadow brushes for a more precise and clean eye make! :D 

Step 1! Apply the metallic champagne color on the brow bone and on the inner corners of eyes to highlight and make eye make look brighter! :D

Step 2! Apply the copper shimmery brown all over lids! :D 

For a natural eye make you could stop here :D I love this shadow color the best out of the quad :>> It has shimmery gold particles in it and the base medium brown color makes a subtle statement!

Step 3! With a contour brush, apply the darker brown color on the outer corners and crease :D Make it look like a gradation! :D

Step 4! Final step, apply with a thin eye liner brush the darkest grey shadow on the upper lash line. This will already serve as the liner :)

Even though this is a cheap palette, blending and the pigmentation is super great! It even exceeded my expectations!! So happy and in love with this palette!!!

For it's lasting abilities I am truly in awe with how awesome this palette stays on!!!!!! I always wear the copper brown shadow on regular days and it does not fail! No crease marks, no fading~ little shadow fall out~ I wore the smoky eye look from 2 to 9 pm! And it still looks the same :D AWESOME!!!

So what did I do from 2 to 9pm? My family and I went shopping yesterday :) Got some necessities cause I'm a simple girl now :))))

YEAY for sales! Got 20% off from the Body Shop because of my sister's card :D I really need this Tea Tree Oil~~ tiny pimples on cheeks that won't go away @.@

Another skincare product that I really need~ Nose strips :D A lot of readers urged me to try this so here! :D I bought one! :D (well make that 10 strips in one box! :D :D)

Then mother went to Marks and Spencer to buy more gifts :D I really love the scents of their lotions there! Especially the Magnolia and Lavender variant <3 They have a sale too!! 20% off on all items except for the food and wine~

Gateway is full of New Year sales!!!! Got something sparkly from Promod~ :D

I was choosing between this~ Dress with frilly things at the bottom and a fully sparkled top~

Or this BLING BLING love! <3333 It's more sparkly and I love it! :D ^pst~~ I think the brown smoky shadow matches the top very well :)

I think everything is Made in China now~~~ I've tried another palette also from Saizen called Purple Shine Color Eye Palette also from Ellefar! ;) I think the formulation of the shadows now is much better and it's not chalky anymore!!!! 

Overall, I give this palette all praises (well except for the fact that it has paraben~) CHEAP yet it delivers and exceeds my expectation! I got this for 85 pesos... yes 85!!! I actually wanna try other colors from the brand~ :D :D I really suggest this for those who wants a nude palette but still wants to create something smoky and edgy! I suggest this to everyone! :>
