Summary: Elle, Reader and their friends have been invited to a 1920s themed party at the BAU. At the party things unravel.
English isn't my mother tongue, so there will probably be some mistakes. I guess this fic is a little goofy but here we go.
__________________________________________
The BAU had arranged a 1920s themed party, for the people in your department. Everyone who was in your unit had been talking about it, everyone on the same floor as you. People were talking about going shopping for their outfit and how excited they were for the party. You had gotten a very well thought invitation, which had been decorated and written with cursive writing.
However, this party included a game of murder mystery. When you arrived at the party you would get a little file with your characters name, background and the basics. You would get some time at the gathering to talk and mingle with the other people. It was gonna be interesting for all of you profilers at the party. Putting the profilers in a murder mystery is already a little insensitive to you who experienxe horrors everyday but also just the pure advantage it gives you.
You had dressed up in an elegant dress with heals matching, jewelry and head accessories. You were ready to go.
At the party you were handed a file, and as you read through it you found out that your new temporary name was: Roselyn Thorne. It was said that your character grew up in a middle class home. You didn't seem to be married, or involved with anyone which maybe could mean your character wasn't the guilty one. Mostly the motive would be: Revenge, money or jealousy.
And as you went into the large area where the party would take place, there was old music playing from a grammaphone loud and clear. People dressed in old couture, decorated with jewelry and everything else you could spot at a 1920s party outfit. There were fancy glasses filled with champagne and other bottles of alcohol standing on one of the long tables.
There was decorated with all kinds of party things, as you looked around at it. Soft jazzy music played in the background and it was almost like you could feel the bass underneath your feet. You walked up to one of the tables with snacks and drinks on it. Spencer stood by one of them, when you approached the table. He stood with his back turned to you, as you came nearer.
You grabbed a cup as you got yourself something to drink. "Hey Spencer" He hadn't noticed you at all, for when you spoke up he looked up at you in surprise. He stopped what he was doing, looking at your outfit. He then looked back at the table, grabbing more snacks, stuffing them in his mouth as he tried to hide a small smile. "Hi Y/N. You look really good" He nodded along with his words. You let a small smile show. So small it could be classified a smirk.
"Thank you, Spence" You hid your lips behind your cup, before you took a sip. You looked around the room, noticing all the people who were already in conversation. You looked back at Spencer and saw he had one of those monocles in his pocket. Without thinking, you grabbed it and looked up at Spencer through it. "How'd you get one of these, huh?" You said, with a teasing tone, smiling at him. His cheeks grew red, as he let out a nervous, breathy laugh. You held it up before you, looking at him through the glass, squinting an eye playfully.
"It fits the theme" He was about to take it from you, when you lowered it yourself as you stared in one specific direction. Your lips parted slightly, as your eyes shined at the new appearance in the room of the BAU. Spencer stared at your admiring face, before turning his head the same direction. You stuck the monocle in Spencers palm, as he took it with furrowed eyebrows. You sat your cup down, before walking over to the woman in the black vintage dress. Her dark hair was curly and her lips painted a soft red. She was looking around, as her hands pulled her dress down, her head staring down to see if it was too short. You smiled and touched your cheek, as it felt like something warm was there. You took small steps at first, but then she saw you. Her eyes lit up, and her face softened. Before she had been tense holding her arms close to her body. Her shoulders fell, with a sigh. It didn't feel like Elle. Elle was confident and always held her head up. Crossed arms or relaxed figure, with no stuttering. She walked towards you, when she saw you heading her way. She rested her hands on her waist, as you stood before her.
"Hi" Elle greeted you shortly. Your eyes roamed on her figure, before they landed on her chocolate brown eyes. "Hi" You responded with same soft and calm tone. Elle gave you a look with her eyes, you couldn't quite read. "You look amazing tonight, Elle" You said, gesturing to her look. She looked down at herself with a curt chuckle. "Yeah, thank you. You look great too, really" She pointed towards your own outfit, her cheeks growing pink. "But my names not Elle." She said. "Oh right..Well, then what is your name fine lady?" You said playfully. "I'm Kate Nessglass" She responded, and held her hand out for you. "Nice to meet you. I'm Roselyn Thorne." You shook her hand. Normally, roleplaying wasn't that weird when it was with one of your best friends out of work, but roleplaying with someone you worked with on a daily who just also admired was just a tad bit strange. But because you went to the party and knew what it was about and so did Elle, must mean that she thought it was interesting. Or maybe she just didn't want to feel left out. To be honest, you weren’t even sure why you went yourself.
Silence fell upon you and your head grew dizzy as all the noises around you, started getting to you. The music, the chattering, the heels claking against the floor and- “Hey, my sweet ladies.” Morgan. You turned your heard around to see Morgan walking up to you. He wrapped his arm around you shoulder giving you a casual smile. “You two look great.” Morgan was wearing an actually stylish hat. For the time period too. “You should wear hats more.” You say ignoring his compliment. Elle giggles and nods. “Thank you, Morgan.” Elle decides to be the one to acknowledge Morgans playboy talk.
Morgan kept looking into your eyes since you commented on his hat. He squinted at you finding your statement unreadable. You shrugged and with a curt laugh you slap his hat down softly. You turn around and slightly playfully runs away even in your heels. You run back to Spencer who watched the whole exchange. His eyebrows are lifted. He looks back at you with a more neutral look after having watcjed Morgan and Elle continue talking.
He studies you as you stuff your mouth with gummies ignoring eye contact. You can sense something lingering in the air as you feel his eyes burning into you. You give in and lock eyes with him. You stop chewing on the gummies, freezing entirely. Spencers eyebrows are furrowed. He’s toying with his monocle as his brown eyes search yours. “You know, i might be autistic but i am a profiler.” He shrugs at you, telling you so many things with that wording. That he’s onto you. He saw the way you were breathless at Elles entrance.
You slowly start chewing again as your eyes look away to the rest of the room. “Well, good for you?” You say high pitched. You shuffle on your feet as your heart beats faster. Spencer sighs. He grabs a drink and swirls it staring down into the drink for too long.
“I’m not trying to tease you. I just want you to know that you don’t need to hide things from me. Not even your feelings.” He explains it with a good mix of hesitation and softness. You look at him and nod very slowly. It was too much of a sweet and genuine thing of him to say at this time and place that you felt the need to hide anyway.
After running off and greeting many new characters the first murder happens, and you’re all called to a meeting. Everyone testifies what they can but it’s too early to point fingers. You were all just meeting each other not ready to conclude anything. You were all let go and you for a moment just stare into the air. How long was this gonna take? And how were you gonna make the most of it? You open the card to your character description again only to find out you were just a young stylish woman living the big city life and since you wanted to be a model, you needed to gain a connection a mister Edward Wyse. Luckily it said who that was. Anderson.
You never really talked to him but he seemed nice. You approached him when you finally laid eyes on him. Anderson was of course quite confused by your approach, but he didn’t mind.
“Heyy Anderson! Or what should I call you? Edward? Mister Wyse?” You joked and flashed a huge smile leetting your eyes almost shut together. He smiles back and nods slightly. “Whatever you prefer.” He opens his arms out before they land by his sides again. As a way to show you welcomness. You hobestly never really knew what Anderson did at the office but he brought a good energy and sometimes was ordered to help you profilers out. It’s hobestly a bit of a shame you never chatted.
“I’m Roselyn Thorne. From the big city. You’re a well loved name in the big city.” You pointed to the folded paper of your character description, hinting at the fact your characters were linked. His eyebrows rose. “Oh!”. He smiled again. “Well, I can’t help it. What are you looking for?” He asked before taking a sip of his drink. That reminded you of the drink you had in the start that made you bubbly and yours limb feel like gummy.
“I don’t know if you heard but I am quite the showgirl. In all kinds of ways. But you see I know you’re great at finding talent for models.” You move your left hand around a little as you talk. Ending your sentence with a pointed finger at his chest. He looks down and raises an eyebrow at you. You removed your finger and look around the room as you bob up your hair with your hands. Feeling kinda self-aware now. Anderson nodded at you. “But you found me.” He teases. You turn your head back to him. You stare at him for a good couple of seconds before your gaze falls down. “Well, is that so bad now? Maybe you got lousy at finding talent, the talent had to find you.” You giggled and open your arms up like your asking him a question.
Anderson fully laughed now and he nodded more. “Okay okay, you got it. I’ll get you somewhere. But from what I heard it’s not easy. Miss Jelling got ahead of you.” He shrugs as you frown. Seriously? He’d let you talk on like you actually meant it? Like you actually were Roselyn Thorne in the 1920s just for him to say you had competition?
“What her first name?” You look up through your eyebrows. Your fingerpalms getting sweaty from feeling just a tad humiliated. “Tammy.” He says and then slamming his lips shut into a thin line. You roll your eyes turning around to scan the room.
“What she look like?”
“Blonde hair, blue eyes, kinda short.” He describes nothing remarkable.
“JJ.” He finally gives it to you.
“Thanks”.
—————-
After talking to Tammy Jelling aka JJ, you didn’t get much further. Another murder happened and people started fighting more intensly. The first murder had seemed too random since the character had no big status or relations.
This time a woman who was married to the local politician was found dead. Political murder?
Well whatever it was you didn’t care all that much anymore. You wanted to get drunk and then admire all the beautiful costumes. When everyone decided to vote someone out and they no longer could play as their character, you all split again.
Suddenly you feel a cold hand on your upper arm and you jump, looking behind you. Your met with freckles splattered all over, deep brown doe eyes and curly hair. Elle. Your face went from tense and confused to relieved and happy. “Hi El.” You smile lightly. Her lips are parted and her eyes are studying yours.
She lets her arm rub down your upper arm before she lets go. “Sorry.” She breathed out. “I just knew you were gonna get lost in the crowd. I couldn’t find you last round.” She rubbed her fingers and hands against each other. She was very close and you could almost feel her breath on your neck. Goosebumps spread on your arms. You bit your bottomlip subtly as your eyes quickly scanned the floor. “Sorry.” You mumbled. You couldn’t help but feel a specific warm feeling inside of you at the fact that Elle had been looking for you.
“Maybe we should find somewhere quiet?” Finally you could get a break from the overwhelming party.
Summary: Reader is Spencers twinsister and the team is trying to get Elle and Reader together, but Spencer doesn't know.
I lost the request but im still gonna write it. I hope its alright. Also english isn't my mother tongue, so there will probably be some mistakes.
Pairing: Elle Greenaway x Fem!reader
Genre: Fluff
Category: Oneshot.
Warnings: Kissing.
No matter what was going on, it seemed like something was drawing you and Elle together. Everytime you'd have a case, and had to be briefede you'd always seem to end up sitting next to the girl you couldnt be normal around. She's too beautiful. There was something about her, that drew you in. You had only known her for a couple of months, and still you were all over the place. Everytime you'd have to stay at a hotel while working on a case, or just finishing one, you'd be paired up with Elle.
Elle Greenaway, your colleague. Its not that you minded sharing a room with her, it just always made you stutter, hesitate and make your palms sweat just a little bit. You'd end up sitting together on the plane home. Or on the way over to where the case would take place. You two would always end up talking alot together, whenever this happened. It was like you never ran out of topics, words, themes or whatever, when you two were sat together. You two could talk together to the end of time. What you didn't notice was that when you were in a deep conversation with Elle, the rest of your coworkers would pair up and stare at you two in the background. They would whisper about you two, and their next moves. They'd smile at their small accomplishments even though you two weren't aware of your true feelings to each other yet. But that's what they were here for. To help you on the way.
Well, the only one on the team who was oblivious to the shipping of you two was Spencer. He wasn't included when the others got together to admire you two from afar. Normally you didn't really think anything of it. It was probably all just a coincidence that no matter what you were doing at work you somehow ended up talking or working with Elle somehow. The team wished to accomplish that one of you would finally ask the other out. But you never did. Then they tried to start mentioning how cute you two were, to maybe encourage you. Spencer even thought sometimes the team was mad at him or making him feel left out. For example that time where Spencer was about to sit next to you but then Derek shoved the chair away from him, giving him a knowing look. Trying to tell him why with his eyes, but Spencer didn't catch on. Instead he furrowed his eyebrows, and looked around confused. His hands in his pockets trying to understand what had just happened. He still didn't catch on when Elle came in and took the seat next to you, leaving Spencer with the chair on the other end of the table. He might've felt like the team liked you better than him. Even though the team never had a favorite. Well, maybe they had a favorite ship. Hopefully soon, a favorite couple.
There were of course some times where the team didn't have to do anything to get you two closer, or give you sweet moments. That's probably also why you fit so well together. You didn't need someone to force you together. You just needed a little reasurence.
Like that one time where you were on a case, during late fall:
You were shivering, from the cold breeze. The wind brushing your hair and shoving to the trees making their leafs rattle together. The leafs were dark brown and orange. The trees almost being dead, since winter was nearing. You tried hugging yourself and moving around to keep yourself warm. You started to regret not bringing a jacket or at least a warmer shirt, but you thought that You could handle the weather. It didn't seem that cold, when you got ready for the day. You could hear the wind swirl around your ears and the cold causing your ears and cheeks to go red. But then you saw her standing in front of you, and then your cheeks went red for a whole different reason. She was standing there with her jacket in her hands, holding it infront of her. She was looking at you with a small subtle smile and it was such a gentle caring expression she held. Her eyes studying your face for a moment before speaking up. "You seem cold" Her voice almost made your knees melt. But you couldt let yourself move. Being so close to her and having her full attention made butterflies erupt in your stomach. "I am" You answered, slowly stopping rubbing your arms. Her lips were slightly parted, her lips being a faint soft pinkish, redish color. "Here. Take my coat" She said softly. It wasn't a demand, nor was it a question. Your lips turned upward at her thoughtfulness.
"Thank you" You said, as she held out the coat for you to fully take. You took it calmly from her grip, brushing fingers as you did so. Eye contact didnt seem to be a problem betweent you two. Your eyes were glued to each other, not being able to look away, as you put it on. "Elle, Y/N!" Derek called, interrupting you and Elle. Elles head whipped around, and you walked up next to her, to see what Derek wanted. But you weren't paying attention. Your mind was still foggy from the way her eyes could shine so brightly, even if it was so gloomy outside. Oh, and the feeling her fingers quickly but softly touching yours.
Then there was the time where you were on a little vacation with Derek and Elle in Jamaica. It was night and the summer breeze was brushing against your legs, as Elle asked if you wanted to dance. There was music and that dance floor, where other couples and people were enjoying the night. You nodded at her, and she took your hands following you to the dance floor. You were both smiling at each other, and softly swaying to the sounds of the music. You could even feel the vibrations of the music under your feet. Her arms resting around your neck and yours resting around her form. Her skin was so soft, and having her touching you felt like heaven. It felt rare. Like you had to cherish this feeling and moment forever. As long as you possibly could.
Earlier that day you and Elle had played Volleyball with some guys at the beach. You had been laughing and enjoying the game together the whole time. You couldnt help but admire Elle during the whole game. You also felt a sickening feeling in the pit of your stomach, everytime one of the guys had flirted with Elle. Now you couldnt quite read if Elle was into it or not, but it still hurt. But it was like you could feel the bond between you and Elle getting stronger and closer. It's not easy to explain, it's something you feel.
But right now you were at a bar, with most of the team. Spencer had been persuaded, Hotch had agreed to go shortly, Gideon didn't go and the rest of you were quite enthusiastic. Penelope, Derek, Emily and JJ were on the dance floor. Then there was you, Spencer, Elle and Hotch sitting by a table just calmly chatting. Hotch had exused himself, getting his coat on. He had a family to go home to, so he didn't stay for that long.
While he was getting his things, Penelope had made her way over to all of you, but only with the intention of interacting with you and Elle. You were sitting next to her, leaning your head on the palm of your hand. You had placed your elbow quite close to Elle without noticing. Penelope dragged the two of you onto the little stage in the bar. Yes, she was actually making you two do karaoke. You'd have to be really brave and confident to do karaoke. Strangers gathered in a bar and amateur singers putting on a perfomance. You'd need to be secure in your singing and perfomance. Now, its not like you and Elle were bad at singing. But you could always be better. The whole time you both had been stuttering out words of rejection, and walking hesitantly. But then she shoved the microphone in your hand. "Come on, it'll be fun" She almost pleaded and gave you a small pouty look. The music had already started to play and when you looked behind Penelope you saw a bunch of people looking at you waiting for the small show to begin. Oh, right then you felt like you wanted to just run away and hide. Hide from the world, and make everyone forget about you and everything you've ever done. But then Elle sighed, and tool a hold of the microphone is shifting it lighty. Now you were both holding it, so you could both access it.
You had both started to sway to the music, trying to get comfortable. You both started singing and at first it was awkward. You weren't even looking at the audience, and your shoulders were tense. But just like music always does, it gets to you. Music can do so much to a person. Make them feel all kinds of different emotions and think a bunch of different things. It can even say things for you.
You were holding the microphone in your right hand, and Elle was holding it with her left. Since you had to hold it together to both participate as much as you could, you were close. Your bodies were so close to each other. You could almost feel her breath on your skin. You were subconsciously moving yourself closer to her, feeling the warmth of her body more and more. Elle herself felt her mind go blurry. She couldnt think straight. It was like, it was only you two in the world. In the moment. The words you were singing belonged to a sweet, soft love song. When you were singing those words to one another, looking into each others eyes getting more and more lost, you were singing words you'd longed to tell her for a long time. Words so she could understand how you feel about her. Elle even felt like her legs were going to betray her in that moment. Never had she been more infatuated with you in that moment. All of a sudden Elle understood her feelings for you completely. It all made sense. And you. You had just been waiting for a sign. A way. I think everyone knew what you were feeling for Elle, but yourself. It was complicated, really. You were aware of these feelings and emotions, but you had never actually thought: What if i asked her out? What if she was mine?
It was like you just weren't going to do anything. But in that moment, you wanted to. You wanted to try and see if maybe Elle wanted to too. Then the song ended. And everyone clapped, causing you to snap back to reality and out of the little spell you both had been under. You both smiled looking around to see the team smiling and clapping along. You had no idea, that the whole time while you and Elle were singing together, they had been gushing and whispering about you two at the table you had claimed for the night. Spencer was also clapping along, but he wasn't wearing that amusing look like the rest. He was more casual. You put the microphone back in it's place, and joining the rest of the group with Elle. Hotch had stayed, when he realized what Penelope had been doing.
"Not bad" Derek smiled, leaning on the table. "Thanks" You muttered, sitting back in your seat. You were both blushing crazily. You'd had to be absolutely blind not to be able to see it. It was so obvious. Everyone had noticed the romantic interest you two had in each other....well, all except for your brother, Spencer. You and Spencer could talk about alot of stuff together. Discussing things and topics, talking about childhood memories but you didn't really talk much about the others love life. And you definitely didn't want to talk about your interest in Elle, afraid of her finding out. "That was really cute!" Penelope commented, her voice full of excitement. Hotch decided to leave after having watched you and Elle's little moment. The others quickly made conversation again, but you and Elle were silent. Your knees brushing against the others once in a while. You couldnt think clearly. Your mind was too focused on Elle. Her long dark hair looked so elegant as it bounced around, and her chocolate brown eyes shining. She truly was captivating. You didn't even notice you'd been staring, until she turned to look at you. You made eye contact immediately. None of you looked away. You just sat there. Looking. It might've looked awkward in 3rd person, but it wasnt to either of you. You could feel the connection between you two. There was just something there. Something strong. For a moment you started to wonder if she even felt the same, or if it was just you.
But then she kissed you. All of a sudden her lips were on yours. Infront of everyone. Her lips were so soft, and feeling the warmth from her body again was something you'd never want to end. One of her hands ended up on the side of your face. You of course kissed her back. It took a few seconds to register what had just happened, but when you became aware, you immediately kissed her back. It felt so safe and secure. Your heart was beating so fast, you might've believed it would've beated all the way through your chest, like you were in a cartoon. Then you both pulled away, after some time to not only get some air but to see each others reactions. But then you looked around you to see your colleagues looking absolutely shocked but happy at the same time. Eyes wide, eyebrows raised and small smiles tugging at their lips. "Wow." JJ almost mumbled. "Argh! Finally!!" Penelope clapped her hands, and jumped in her seat. Through your whole life with your twinbrother Spencer, you had never seen him more confused before. He was absolutely shunned. Eyes wide and mouth agape. "What?" Spencer managed to say, even though he looked absolutely speechless. You bit your bottomlip to stop a smile forming on your face, and as your elbow rested on the table before you, you took your hand covered the top of your face so your eyes were hidden from the people around you. Elle snuck one of her hands into the one you held on your lap, to hold it softly but secure. "You two are so cute" JJ said sweetly to you two, so maybe you'd feel less embarrassed. You sneaked a glance over all of them and sighed. They seemed okay with the fact you were two girls. But then again that wasn't really your biggest question. The thing you wanted to know was what you and Elle were going to do now between the two of you. Go on a date and take it from there, or forget this thing? You just hoped Elle wanted the same as you. You giggled, feeling trapped. "Thank you" You said, answering JJ's recent remark. You looked at Spencer giving him a slight awkward smile. He took a breath before closing his mouth again. He looked down and then up again. "What is going on? Why do none of you seem so shocked?" Spencer questioned out of pure curiosity, pointing to you two. "Spencer, its been so obvious. We've all been pushing them together the last couple of months" Emily stated. "You have?" You then asked. Now Spencer was even more confused. How come you didn't even know? Elle didn't seemed that surprised, meaning she must've been well aware. "Yeah. Why do you think you always end up sitting together whenever we're at work or doing anything in general?" It sounded from Emily. She herself seemed surprised you hadn't noticed. "Yeah, or that one time in Jamaica. I invited both of you for a reason" Derek explained. You let out a breathy laugh. "Oh" Was all you managed. "Or today when Garcia forced you to sing" Emily mentioned. You then looked at Elle. "Why did i not know any of this?" Spencers high-pitched voice sounded. He was furrowing his eyebrows, and looking around pure baffled. You all let out a laugh, at the sound of your brother. You were sure he was happy for the both of you, but right now he just needed some answers. And you were just happy to finally have gotten closer to the girl you'd been dreaming of. Turns out that the whole time it had been the team who had been drawing you and Elle together.
Yk how in the show Elle got shot and then used her blood to write a message? I believe it happened in "The Fisher King pt 1"
and then later the team including Elle had a case about a serial rapist (William Lee is the name I looked it up on Google)
which triggered her and she killed him?
I wanted it to be Reader who killed him instead.
I hope this cleared things up <3

Pairing: Elle Greenaway x fem!reader
Warnings: Guns, violence and typical Criminal minds stuff.
Summary: After Elle was shot by the Fisher King, she wasn't really working the same. A case triggered you, where it leads to your secret being revealed.
After Elle had been shot in her own home, she didn't feel safe in her own house. She ended up spending a lot of her free time in your home, too scared to be alone. So as soon as you came home, she rushed over to you, to show how much she missed you. Elle managed to find a way to get more comfortable at home. She was more aware of her surroundings and if she had to go home to get something from her house, she would grab something that reminded her of you. Whether that was some clothing or an object she could fit in her pocket. She always locked her doors and windows. Even when she was at your place. You and Elle would make dinner and dessert together, and have movie nights as often as you could. Elle would sometimes be brave enough to open up to you, and talk about the things that were bugging her. You would lean forward listening, and give her the best words you could give her to help her go through what she was going through.
One day, you were called in for a case about a serial rapist. You had woken Elle up a little bit, to tell her you had to go, and she immediately clinged onto the arms that were placed on her shoulders, after you had tried to shake her softly awake. She held onto the with a slight desperate grib, with eyes filled with yearning. She didn't want you to leave, but she knew you had to. You kissed her hands and then her whole face, before leaving. You had told her she cold text or call if she needed anything or simply just missed you. The door had closed with a click sound, and right after it closed, you heard the lock turn.
You and your team eventually found your way to a suspect, and was going to set him up, using you as the trap. But you couldnt think straight the whole time. Your heart wouldn't calm down, and the pit in your stomach was only getting stronger and stronger every second. Your palms got sweaty, right before you grabbed your gun. Basically, you messed up. You panicked. And you were so angry at yourself for having messed it up, but there was nothing you could do to change it. It happened. Before this whole setup you all had went through files to find your way to where the unsub would strike next. But the officers who had been sent to the womans home to warn her and help, no one answered the door. Turns out, while the officers were banging on the door, and rining the doorbell, the unsub was inside waiting for them to leave. When you found out you felt your stomach drop. This whole wave of sadness and anger attacked you all at once, filling you up with absolute hatred. Everyone else knew. They could see and feel it. They tried calming you down, and even Spencer had tried talking to you about it, but he didn't get it.
It all reminded you of Elle. Of how it changed Elle, the woman you loved. You would never wish anything horrible for Elle. It all reminded you of how Elle was too scared to be alone now, and was always clinging onto you in some way. You didn't tell Elle about the details of the case. You knew it wouldn't help her situation. The only way Elle felt peace was when she was with you, or in your home. And right now you were far away from her. The unsub was arrested and interrogated, but unfortunately you didn't have any concrete evidence to keep him. Unless, you got a confession, which you didn't. He was really getting on your nerves. He knew how to get under your skin. He proved that further, when you were facing him in the middle of the night all alone. You knew he was about to strike again, when you stood there facing him. But he was talking so arrogant and cocky. When he walked around you, and walked backwards still looking at you, you stopped him. You did something you were not proud of. Something you wish you didn't have to do. But you knew if you let him go, he was going to mess a woman up for a long time. Physically and mentally, considering the fact that most of the women he targeted were middle aged. You drew you gun, and pointed it at your target. You had an explanation ready for. He had been threatening and attacked you, so you defended yourself with your gun. You didn't want to admit to anyone what had happened. When Derek had asked you: "Whats actually bugging you, Y/N?"
You sighed heavily, and explained how bad you felt for Elle. It all remebered you of how she was still healing and how she still wasn't completely healed yet. Derek had given you an understanding look, but he still didn't understand why it bothered you to such an extreme level.
"Because Derek! I live with her and see how it effects her everyday! Every time I have to leave i see how her face changes from comfort and safety to being nervous and scared." You explained quite harshly, throwing your arms around out of frustration. Derek, didn't understand at first, making you freeze. No one on the team knew about you and Elle, due to a rule. A rule that dating with someone you worked with, wasn't allowed. But now you had let it slip. But then you relaxed your tensed up shoulders, when you realized you didn't actually care. Elle had been through so much, and you had just ended someone. There was worse things to worry about. You shook your head, and ran a hand through your hair. "Yeah. Me and Elle are together" You sighed, before leaving Derek alone. Everyone found out after that. And everyone was very understanding of it, and accepting. But you still had other things going on. People were questioning your story. And you still had to recover from all of the troubled feelings this case had caused you.
