I'm working on a short Family Ties Ellex fic and I was wondering if anyone was interested in reading it so I could tag them when the first chapter was posted.

Some background info: Post canon, fluff, reunion (sorta...?), and kind of a bit domestic.

I don't know how long it's been since you've discussed Alex and Ellen, but do you have any headcanons for what they're like as parents?

hi!! it's definitely been a while since i've had any asks about family ties, but i have SO many headcanons. buckle up, these have been pent up for months

- ellen and mallory are pregnant around the same time

- their kids essentially get two sets of parents

- alex and ellen have two daughters and they have alex whipped from day one

- he would do literally anything for them, no matter how much time or money it would cost

- ellen tells him that he needs to start putting his foot down. on the one occasion he tries, they just look at him with puppy-dog eyes and he folds like a house of cards

- ellen is bit stricter, but that's only because if she doesn't discipline them, no one will

- but she's extremely loving and supportive, and she enjoys embarrassing her kids whenever she can

- she and alex act all lovey-dovey in front of their kids just to gross them out
