Gedellie + physical touch
‼️ Alert ‼️
I have no idea how to write poetry, hence this post is rather experimential, “surprisingly” dedicated to my most beloved police officers:
***
Her ashen hair, and eyes in shades of cognac,
Her dry, thin lips, and smile that makes me weak.
Oh, I have cried for love as marooned maniac,
Until I leaned my face against her gentlest cheek.
Then blood within my veins began to rush,
As though it fled the ultraviolet rays
That might turn liquid into the darkest tusche,
And then conduct it into cordial ways.
My dearest woman saw throughout my inner self.
I was afraid that she might drown in darkest bile.
My Frau commissar, albeit, has proved herself
That truth remained unspoken only for a while.
Her shade now follows me from job to home,
But then evaporates into the densest fog,
Until I fell upon my knees, and in the most perverted form
Of touch become to beg her like a hungry dog.
And once she stripped me of my rusty armour.
There’s nothing I could do to stop her hands.
By blood and sweat, with help of copper hammer,
She forged my heart out of the solid glands.
Now she and I against the world of justice,
Since no one really knows what is it all about.
Through years of tears and long, exhausting practice,
I finally have found my first and only love.

Remark to the second stanza: Contrary to the common misconception perpetuated by cinema, ultraviolet radiation (which is often employed by forensic investigators during crime scene examination for bloodstain detection) does not cause blood to fluoresce. Instead, haemoglobin absorbs much of the incident ultraviolet radiation, causing blood to appear almost coal-black against surface that reflect or fluoresce more readily. (Blood may fluoresce under other wavelengths or with help of certain chemical regents, but ultraviolet light itself is not responsible for that effect).
This phenomenon inspired the metaphor of “the darkest tusche”. Once blood has been revealed, it betrays Gedeon’s feelings by rushing to his heart and quickening its rhythm, which might eventually cause some intimidating consequences… as, say, falling in love.
This image seemed to me quite pertinent, since both Ellie and Gedeon, by virtue of their profession, would be familiar with such forensic phenomena.
Thanks for your attention 🙂↕️

Oh yes, finally a female character with PTSD.
Hold On | Ellie Stocker x Gedeon Winter | Pagan Peak
This edit has been on my mind for a year now and I finally posted it today (sorry it takes so long). The past year has been insane for me and when I sorted things out a bit, the first thing I wanted to do is finishing this edit.
A comment from Youtube recommend this song, and yes Hold On is a hella perfect song for them.
It was always nice rewatching all of their moments while making this, and exclaimed on how beautiful they were together🥺
Anw I hope you’ll like it, I love and miss you loads
Everyone should watch “pagan peak” I only have one episode left of season one and it’s just so so good.

Hope you all like it ^^
