I think this is the first time I've seen you change your url

i've been debating it for months, and eventually decided that if I was going to do it, I should do it on my birthday. I don't really post much Doctor Who anymore, it's mainly Marvel, so I figured whoviandragon didn't really fit anymore.

Thank you for the comments :D one of the problems I have with the scanner is that it didn't pick up a lot of the shading I did on the face, I tried mucking with the levels to get it to show up but then the rest of the picture looked to dark.

No problem!!

I had similar problem with my scanner (and tried to do the same thing with no success either). It was really annoying because I try my best to bring highlights/contrasts to what I draw (because that's my big weakness...). I switched to taking pictures with my camera because it actually captures pretty much everything if you have a good lighting (also if you just put the drawing on the floor, get something to elevate yourself -- like a chair -- and take the picture from up there I tend to have better results~)

I think you drawing style has improved btw!

Your handwriting is no where near as bad as my grandma’s. Hers looks really pretty but you can’t make letters out and need a magnifying glass.

LOL. Glad to know I stand up to your gran's hand writing. My dad's handwriting is so bad, you can't tell what he's written.

I guess maltby (my hometown) didn't get quite so worked up because the colliery was still open till last year. I've not heard that rhyme before either.

We technically still have one pit open (its going to shut soon though), but we were a mining town for hundreds of years and then they all shut down and we were left with nothing. Even now there's not really many jobs.

Maybe the rhyme is just a Barnsley thing? It doesn't get mentioned very often now, but pops up every now and then when she's mentioned. Barnsley did not do well when she was in charge. Not well at all.
