Red: Red likes to teach some of the women how to fight. She does it for black-market and unique items that she can only find if she leaves the hotel and longue. She can’t leave the lounge due to it being neutral territory and her past so it’s the easiest way for her to get stuff. 

Icy: Icy was taught how to read and do math problems by a man in the mines who was a friend of his father’s. He saw he had a promising future and decided that he couldn’t get anywhere in life without some form of education. His educated mind is what got the attention of Princess’ father.

Cherie: Cherie’s mother and her mother before her were aerialists. They taught everything she knows and they were brutal when it came to being perfect because they knew if she wasn’t good at something special that she wouldn’t have a good future for herself. 

Joe: Joe enjoys humming old before the bombings songs to himself. He found a record player and he will play tunes on it from time-to-time. A lot of people have tried to steal the record player but he’s always managed to steal it right back. It’s like his second baby, since his bass is his first.

“I love the presents you got me, but nothing compares to your hugs.” / Roma and Paco  @outfromthesea

Paco rubbed at her shoulders before he leaned forward to press a kiss to her right shoulder. For him, he thought the gifts would be a great way to show that he was excited for her to be the mother of their child. All the baby booties and onesies, and baby bears, and nursery decorations were chosen because he knew she’d like them. She’d scanned them at the local target registry for fun. So when she said the gifts were nothing compared to his hugs, he found himself feeling surprised. 

“You don’t like this Winnie the Pooh onesie with little ears as much as my hugs?” he asked, teasing her, a huge grin on his face as he picked it up and displayed it before her. 

She gave him a partial smile before she stood up, maneuvered her way around the chair, and kissed his cheek. “It is lovely, but it is not...uhm...you. Therefore it isn’t as lovely as you.” Roma nodded and patted the side of his arm. “You know what I am saying?”

“I do,” Paco replied. “But you gotta admit, the baby is going to look adorable in it.” He passed the outfit to her, and she looked at it, and then smiled wider. He could tell that she agreed with him, which only managed to make him give her one of the hugs she was praising before. “I mean, look at who his parents are.” A laugh from him, and then nuzzled her neck with his nose.
