Perfect, portrayal is perfect. I love seeing how you bring her character to life with your threads. It's nice to see her perspective in terms of Jax and the drugs. But, it's also sweet to see how she acts as a caretaker and mother. You manage to realistically write her reactions to everything dealing with her addictions. it's just a complete honor to follow you. c:

I was going to say that’s it, that’s my reply, except that I wanted to say that I’m really, really pleased that you brought up Wendy’s addictions, because that was what drew me to her in the first place, my empathy with what she was going through- I’m also a recovered addict. And I try really hard to express that with as much sympathy and honesty as possible, because quite often addicts, and addiction, and it’s effects on the addict and those around them are really poorly portrayed in media, and Kurt did a really nice job with Wen, her redemption, and the little lies and underhandedness that undermined her sobriety. She was so realistically written, so honestly expressed by Drea that it became really, really important to me to write her, and to write that, honestly.
And I’m really, really pleased that you caught that. <3 I’m never sure if it comes across well, but it’s such a major aspect of her character that not making it central to every moment of her life would be absurd. <3
