I heard writeblr bingo was making a comeback so I made a new one for Heroics

364 words while I was stuck at home today. Reminding myself this is a first draft and I’m just shoveling as much sand into the sandbox as I can right now, aka, write all the awkward self indulgent shit I want because I can always edit it out later

I did this with a couple of my writing groups and the answers were absolutely amazing. Reblog and tell me about the first thing you ever remember writing. What was it called, what was the plot, how old were you?

When I was in third grade I got some of these little Pom Pom critters that I loved to death. I wrote this short story about them as an invading alien species that enslaved and ate the human race, with a human heroine that tried to save us all.

So the first two days of NaNo got a little derailed 😬😬 My whole family came down to be here when my girlfriend of four years asked me to marry her (I said yes, of course)

So it’s day 3 and I have a total of 50 words from a midnight kick off party, and it’s time to play catch-up. Wish me luck, both in getting through this month and planning a wedding 😭

Forgot to update yesterday but day two of no work brought 530 words and an extra week of school being closed. I’ve had two parents reach out to me asking if I’d babysit so they can get some work done, so as long as I don’t have to quarantine I might not be stuck at home for the next two weeks.
