New oc Elmstar!

*intense screeching* Well, looks like my other textpost never posted :c so ROUND TWO.

Introducing my first leader oc, my child, Elmstar. 

Elmkit- Elmpaw- Elmheart

A long legged pale gray tom cat with a medium length coat. Hes got long ear fur, and the tips of his ears, down his spine and the end of his tail are a darker gray color. Hes got long whiskers and really neato soft faded green eyes with flecks of gold.

A bit of background: Hes the newest leader of RiverClan, stepping up from his place as deputy when the last leader died of old age. Hes a really chilled out and relateable guy, though his one major set back is that he suffers from really intense anxiety. Any major decisions or choices that need to be made kinda freak him out and he usually needs to be by himself and take a walk to clear his head and breathe. Elm gets a bit nervous around kits, but loves them all the same!  

Before he became deputy, as a very young warrior, he had a brief love affair with a ShadowClan she cat named Coppertail. Elmheart could have sworn that she was the love of his life. One day, the topic of them becoming mates came up. Of course with his anxiety, he said that he loved her, but needed some time to think the consequences through. A few moonrises later, Coppertail was killed when rescuing some kits from a thunderpath. When the news reached Elmheart, he sobered up. No more playing, no more messing around. His heart was broken and jaded. After Coppertails death, Elm became the most serious, loyal and intense warrior for his Clan. Eventually he became deputy, then leader. 

As for a mate? Who knows. Elmstar is a really loving cat, but who knows, its up to StarClan to put the right cat in his path!
