the chariot: what goal is your character determined to reach?

bryony:

all she wants is to help people, to make their lives better. there’s nothing else she wants to do, nothing else she can do. there are things she owes to the world and she will pay it back as many times as she must, even if she never feels like she’s made up for it.

elowen:

the only thing elowen has ever wanted was for the world to just be kinder, to stop hurting those that can’t defend themselves, to stop taking advantage of the vulnerable. her faith is based on the concept of justice. her god demands the protection of the weak and weary who cannot raise their voice or sword in their own defense.

all she wants is to punish the wicked who harm the innocent, and above all else to help those in need.

justice - reverse: when has your character been treated unfairly or cruelly?

bryony:

whispers follow. not to her face, never to her face, they weren’t raised like that. that’s not how things work here. but they whisper, and they don’t care if she hears.

weird.

stupid.

freak.

a waste of space.

a waste of time.

broken.

incomplete.

a fracture of something like them.

and part of her agrees.

elowen:

it’s not fair to her, that she’s seen as a brute. she cares-- she cares more than any other person she’s met. so she doesn’t say things the nicest when she sees injustice, so she loses her temper, so she doesn’t walk on glass around perpetrators of cruelty because it’s impolite.

it’s not fair that they don’t listen to her just because she’s angry about the injustice she sees in the world and isn’t able to pretend to be calm and polite like them.

biotite: the biggest problems my muse is currently dealing with

there’s a lot of shit happening to journey-- or around her, at least-- but i honestly think the concept of starting to feel things again is messing with her a lot.

elowen is mostly concerned with keeping these shitheads from getting themselves killed or killing others, in maiev’s case.

lapis lazuli: where 'home' is to my muse

home is complicated for journey. she’s felt at home very few times in her life, and those times are long gone now. the closest she can feel to home now is at sea, constantly on the move. it doesn’t quite compare, but it helps the ache.

elowen is most at home at her temple, however, a part of her still longs for a home long gone, one she can no longer return to. she did that to herself.

quartz: how my muse thinks other people see them

journey is very aware of how tieflings are often viewed. she’s also hyper aware of how she presents herself to the world. for the most part she doesn’t care what people think of her, she just... doesn’t want to be treated like something lesser.

elowen often forgets that other people have opinions on her and her actions. she HOPES people sees her as the justice she’s trying to bring and as a protector.

silver: if my muse prefers masculinity or femininity

journey isn’t really either? she preferred a suit to a dress, but she likes some traditionally feminine things as well. however, for the most part she doens’t sway either way.

elowen is the high femme lesbian knight in shining armor we all deserve.

zoisite: does my muse believe everything's going to work out for them in the end or not?

journey severely doubts anything is going to work out for her. history has proven that most things don’t.

elowen is hopeful that she’ll be able to pave a path to her own happy ending even if she has to do it by herself.

apache tears: a sadness headcanon

ardyn is always sad, which is understandable when you’ve been ripped from your home and everybody you know is dead and gone and the world you knew forever changed. ardyn sees her sadness as an inconvenience to others.

elowen doesn’t like feeling sad. whenever she feels sad, she becomes angry. anger is easier to process for her than sadness– when she’s sad, she’s helpless.

emerald: how my muse tells someone they love them without words

ardyn gives gifts, usually of the handmade kind.

elowen becomes fiercely protective.

galena: what it’s like to be in a relationship with my muse

ardyn’s very protective, but she also isn’t afraid to call her partner out for dumb shit they do.

elowen is, again, fiercely protective with extreme loyalty. she’s prone to grand gestures.

jasper: what my muse would be like as a parent

ardyn would be very kind and protective as a parent but also stern, because she wants what’s best for them. she’d spend a lot of time trying to be there for her kids the way she missed out on after her parents died.

elowen… i honestly can’t see as a parent. she’s more like a cool aunt.

sapphire: if everyone my muse knew was hanging off a cliff and they could only choose three to save, the rest certainly dying, who they would choose

ardyn would save gwen, xilli, and avi, which makes me fell AWFUL because there are only four party members and one of them she LOVES but is not on here because gwen, an npc, has to be saved. gwen has done too much to help ardyn.

elowen would save ayla, kelsey, and a [redacted] person from her past she still carries a bit of a torch for despite all that’s happened.
