langdon   is   standing   at   central   (   TOTALLY   not   trying   to   cherry-pick   patients   )   when   he   catches   movement   out   of   the   corner   of   his   eye.   they   aren't   currently   expecting   any   patients   at   the   ambulance   bay   and   yet   someone   has   walked   through   the   doors.   he's   already   heading   over   to   the   woman   to   either   tell   her   how   to   get   to   the   waiting   room   or   to   help   her   to   a   bed.   "   well,   then   you're   in   luck.   "   he   motions   for   one   of   the   nurses   to   grab   a   wheelchair   for   the   woman   to   sit   in   as   he   checks   for   any   obvious   signs   of   injury.   "   what   brings   you   in   this   morning?   "

whitaker   is   still   getting   used   to   talking   to   patients   on   his   own   and   doesn't   always   realize   that   the medical   terminology   that   flies   off   his   tongue   might   sound   harsh   or   confusing   to   others.   "   i   am.   .   .   "   he   says   with   a   nod   and,   as   if   only   now   realizing   how   condescending he   must   sound,   rushes   to   add   more   to   his   explanation.   "   --but   it's   not   a   bad   thing.   better   to   have   someone   look   at   it   and   it   be   nothing   than   have   it   be   something   and   you   don't   get   it   looked   at.   "   and   offers   a   comforting   smile.   "   luckily,   everything   looks   good.   i   would   ice   it   this   evening   to   help   the   swelling   and   maybe   try   to   stay   off   of   it   as   much   as   possible   for   a   day   or   two.   .   .i   would   also   recommend taking   ibuprofen   for   any   lingering   pain.   other   than   that,   you   should   be   good.   "
