Hello, saw your question on Seanan's blog, I have fibro too. There are loads of us on Tumblr, we're a friendly bunch :)

Thank you for messaging me!! I was just given my doctor’s thoughts on diagnosis Monday but I really felt like it was fibro from when my symptoms started. It’s mainly difficult for me because no one I know truly gets how I’m feeling right now, so it’s hard to not have my usual support systems for helping with this rough time. So it truly means a lot that you reached out to me, thank you :)

I don’t think we ever asked. She was just “Virgin Mary”. I knew who “virgin Mary” was LONG before I knew what the word “virgin” actually meant.

Ah, but I was raised Protestant (Baptist no less), where Mary doesn't play much of a role except at Christmas, and is mostly just called Mary.  For years I thought the phrase "round yon virgin" in Silent Night must be Latin or something because no one would explain what it meant.

Do you know about the cups game re. sexually transmitted infections? (using milk and starch?) let me know if not I’ll send it to you :)

The only activities I know about STIs are the ones where like every student has some water and one student has "infected" water with some sort of chemical in it that shows up under certain lights or lack thereof and then they share water and you see how many people got infected.

That activity always struck me as kind of sex-shamey because its main message is "the more people you have sex with the more likely you are to get an STI"

If anyone knows of any good STI activities that are less sex shamey please send them to me!

In fact any activities or games you can think of about sex education send them to me!
