This monument of Gabriela Mistral with 2 students welcomes people who arrive in #Montegrande, the birth town of the chilean nobel prize. It is a very beautiful environment, the monument is next to the main square, an old church, a playground for children and close to the poet's house museum and a few meters from her mausoleum.

On september 28, 1954 Gabriel Mistral wrote a message that she put inside a bottle. This was buried in #Montegrande and in 2010 was found inadvertenly. In the message she expressed that she wanted a place to be built for the local children. Her dream was realized and adorned with phrases from her poems. In the #photo a seesaw with "give me your hand and we will dance, give me your hand and you will love me, like a single flower we will be, like a flower and nothing else".
