— 「☯」 — An incomprehensible wave of chaos stretched in front of her eyes seemingly endlessly, her second arrival in the walls of the Hive as tragic and disorganized as her memories liked to remind her. They had come back recently, a couple of hours after strolling the broken streets, people fighting, running for their lives or taking their last breaths to her left and right. Needless to say, not much had changed, no order, no administration, except for the conductors of grief and sorrow pulling the strings behind the scenes, holding the inhabitants like mere animals for their amusement.
As a former leader of humanity, a ruler admired endlessly through her entire country, she couldn’t cast off her desire to protect, the feeling of duty anchored in the depth of her heart tugging at her like a puppeteer forcing it’s doll to dance. Swift movements brought her from enemy to enemy as she navigated herself through the ruins of what once used to be home to many, slaying drones in her way one by one almost effortlessly. Her goal, quite obviously, laid vast in front of her, the root of this disaster, the monster behind the apparently infinite spawn of drones.
Her glare was merciless as she slid through the air, enemies pierced one by one by the ancient, golden blade in her possession, until the crown prince stumbled upon a group of them, ten at least. The momentary threat fell victim to a laser in mere seconds, the golden ray of light focused at the tip of her sword leaving dust and debris behind. They revealed a young woman behind them, the sound of her desires long picked-up by the ominous power of the sacred hermit. With a swift motion of her cape, she teleported, landing a couple of inches away from the lady, without daring to close the distance between them any further. The hand she held out to her was no more than a gesture of decency - her strong desire to keep anyone away from herself as much as possible was throbbing in the back of the prince’s mind so loudly, it would have been an insolence to ignore it regardless.
“Do you need anything?”, her voice was calm, the very definition of a gentle soul who knew her manners. Not that she was nearly as innocent at that, but her heart went out to every human in need. “If I may be this bold, you seem quite lost.”
