SNL Review - The Good. Ahem. This was hard. And unfortunately not "woahh there was sooo many good sketches to choose from" hard. I don't know if I just didn't like Jesse Eisenberg's performance, but all of the sketches just seemed a little off. What I do like about this season so far is that the cast and crew really seem to be experimenting with new ideas. They haven't quite hit it out of the park yet, but I feel this is a talented cast, and as soon as they figure it out, SNL is going to be big again. Anyway, what you have here is "El Shrinko". A sketch that says, "hey ladies, it's not that we have small penises, it's that we take these pills to make them smaller so that they please you more". It's a great spin on a penis enlargement commercial. Vanessa Bayer's character has the best lines, in my opinion, and the first genuine laugh. The game seems really simple - bad commercial. You think the joke is going to be the product, but really it ends up being the partner (Eisenberg) who is a little off, the testimonial ladies who keep jacking up the lines, and then finally, the creepy uncle (?) Darick who interrupts. Overall: good.
Whoopsies. The correct video is up now!
