A critical staple in every Otaku's diet, Sushi! I really do enjoy sushi. Unfortunately the rice is not very good for the calorie conscious. However I find that if paired with some warm Miso and a salad as an appitizer a dinner at Sushi shop can be gratifying!
Pictured from my actual meal at Sakura Sushi in Elsmere Delaware. Link at the bottom for restaurant location and details.
1 roll (8 Pieces) Kamakazi Roll (spicy crab, tempura flake, avocado on top) – 480 cal
1 roll (6 Pieces) Avacado Roll – approx 24cal each (140 for this plate)
2 pieces Tamago – 45 cal each (90 for this plate)
Not pictured but was served as an appetizer.
Miso Soup with Tofu – 40 cal per 1 cup
Sunomono (cucumber salad) – 46 cal per 1 cup
Soy Sauce will add an extra 10cal per Tbsp and Wasabi (Yum!) 4.4-7cal depending on if it is the real or fake kind.
696 calories for this meal. Not including the Wasabi and Soy Sauce.
This is totally an acceptable meal when paired with a smaller breakfast and lunch.
On this particular day my breakfast was a fiber one bar (90 cal) and lunch was a cafe steamer microwave meal ( I forget the exact one but all steamers are 300cal or less) Making my daily total ONLY 1,2086calories! Still room for dessert =D
Keep eating Sushi my otaku friends<3 Just mind the portions.
