Honestly the problem in Elsword, does stem into the developers specifically. And it's going to come across as a stupid argument but let me explain as I've played PLENTY of MMORPG's (Aura Kingdom not so much, Eden Eternal, Grand Fantasia, Astral Tale, Closers, not a whole lot of Mabinogi.)
But Elsword's problem is, the gears and progression.
In my case situation, Blue tier gears, or Set effect gears that are just Unique in Elswords case are normal for most parts they should be normal to progress regardless or play the game normally with no problem at all.
Elsword Raids and gears should not be the norm of progression, and if you have to have +11 (OR HIGHER) enhancements to make decent progression in any shape or form, to do another raid or area or playing for fun with no problem at all. Then it is NOT imo good concept it is the sake of panning out for the sake of panning out.
But Elsword has a massive LOVE for Unique and Legend tier Accessories, and Weapons. This is part of I draw the line for why this is bad in execution ( I myself got judged immediately for having both my Code Ultimate who has 15 Million, and Code Sariel with 15 Million * 13 Million if I didn't have Synergy on*, for both having a Stage 5 Artifacts. The Game saw no problem with it because I still technically reached Mirror Dell legitimately without doing Wall, Doom Arporia, or Serpentium Tower, not even building Exascale, nor having Atma Accessories)
My problem is I would LOVE to play the game with a Unique Weapon (not a Legend.) I would LOVE to have basic accessories and just casually play the game. Give Elite tier some love!!! it sucks but I would rather have Unique weapon! and Elite Accessories!!!
In my opinion I showed that, I made Big Boss and Raid Environments look completely OPTIONAL with +11 SoA Weapon from Event and +10 Tenebrous Event Gears.
What I'm essentially saying is, Raid should be optional, and the Legend tiered accessories, Weapon, should be an optional thing and not a requirement.
Is this argument stupid in itself, YES.
but at the same time, Elsword's balancing scale has been weird in itself. I know +60 classes a bit much, but when you realize not many of them get any changes, or "data proves not much." OR THE JOKE OF BLOODY FREAKING QUEEN GET'S BUFFED FOR THE UPTILLIONTH TIME!!!! OR ANOTHER CLASS GET'S THEIR OWN VERSION OF FREAKING BURNING PUNISHER!!! It's like it's a lot to work on for the devs.
They keep throwing things together to work, it doesn't always work.
I agree that the GM in the official Els discord about " Well we can't talk suggestions about a balance in KR servers as we have to wait."
but at the same time, NA/INT players are expressing their concern about upcoming buff/changes that their main gets.
You're either doomed if you don't get a buff or get nerfed. or you're proud you get a buff. or you're already screaming about how they made your changes worse than everyone else around you.
Synergy classes got the short end of the stick of they're weird in their situation.
