Roleplay Submission Standards
(because let's face it - as much as we hate to turn anything down, we need a set of expectations to keep things from plunging into icy depths of hell.)
The judging(we despise the word but what else to call it?) will largely be subjective; roleplaying, or any sort of creative process for the matter, has no set standards nor styles. Everyone has different ways of portraying their characters, and everyone has their own styles.
HOWEVER the factors below should be taken into consideration:
Proper grammar: Spelling, capitalizing, punctuations, pronouns(POVs), etc... but as long at the slip-ups are either intentional, not common, or overall do not interrupt with the ongoing situation, it will be fine.
Storyline: what are the two characters doing? Are they meeting for the first time, arguing about something, fighting, falling in love...? Fanfictions are better when they have storylines; an RP turned fanfiction would also be better if it had some sort of a flowing plot. It doesn't have to be complicated or dramatic, you are welcome to clarify the plot in the submission comments/notes sections if you wish.
If we deem that your submission need to be turned down, we will send a submission(or an ask if the submission box isn't open) regarding the matter, including our main concerns. We will not be publishing it out to the public, no.
So, majority of you thought having some sort of a quality filter would be good. Proper grammar for starters, and details such as storyline and POV... all things considered.
But in the end, it'll be more on the 'good to read or not' thing.
