Has Fitzroy found socks?
One of the many quests that is in progress at the end of TRoFA is the hunt for more socks. Let’s track his progress so far.
Conju’s sister’s college/commune: it’s technically possible that he found some while separated from Pali, but highly unlikely. Culturally similar to Jullanar’s town so sock availability would seasonal.
Sardeet’s town: again technically possible but unlikely. another small town that they [presumably] leave quickly.
[insert missing space between books here]
return to Jullanar’s town of the way to Basil’s: still not sock season.
Sky Ocean: No.
The Marwn’s tower: didn’t take ghost sock souvenirs.
Gorjo City: our best chance so far. Now, socks would certainly not be a staple of the region. I’m sure if other Kip found some socks in his Gorjo City he would toast marshmallows on the little candle flame they made. However, Gorjo City’s sheer size including known transplants from other regions and who know how many people coming to the local palace and maybe hikers of the nature preserves means that socks could be available. The problem is Fitzroy absolutely forgot about the socks because it’s been a wild month and he’s busy thinking about acquiring furniture and in-laws
The Great Bazaar: YES.
jullanar, freshly divorced: Fitzroy! if you want to be equal partners, you must learn to do laundry. are you expecting your kip to look after you like he still works for you?
fitzroy, has been asking Laundry Questions since Masseo's village:
~*~ Three Days Later~*~
kip, sitting at a fire he made, cooking an octopus he caught, wearing clothes he made while fitzroy was sleeping: i've never done laundry in my life.
fitzroy, just invented his own laundry spell:
Narrator Voice: what jullanar didn't know was that there's always a Mdang (in this case aunt) for every occasion.
for the book thing! 1, 3, 10, 13
1. book you’ve reread the most times?
the deltora quest series. honestly, i can’t even remember how many times i’ve read it but i love this series more than anything and will read it every chance i get.
3. what is your favourite genre?
um… i don’t actually think that i have one tbh. if a book is good or catches my attention, then i’ll read it. i mean, my books i have at the moment range from murder mysteries to young adult fiction to nonfiction and classics and poetry.
in other words, there isn’t anything i’m not prepared to read.
10. do you have a guilty fav?
macbeth, probably. especially the lady macbeth parts :)
13. do you have a goodreads?

elvesarebad replied to your post “I’m so glad i didn’t listen to the negative reviews of the rush hour...”
when lee was like "u have corrupted my soul" i was like this is the show for me
the part that really got me was when carter threatened his cousin for information by saying he’ll call their grandma and tell her he didn’t go church last sunday if he didn’t talk lol
dark matter finale spoilers
why six did the thing
1. the destruction of that research facility hit way to close to home.
six’s backstory centers around being an unwilling participant in massive destruction. in response six tries to kill everyone responsible including his team (that he seemed very friendly with)
2. four hit a nerve.
while talking in the marauder, four could tell that six wasn’t dealing well with the destruction of the planet and he advised six to deal with his problems like four does.
six was trying to rationalize that he had tried to stop them but four dismissed this bc he didn’t really try hard enough to make a difference. this leaves six feeling both guilty over more deaths and adamant to affect real change in the future.
3. six believes the crew of the raza will do more harm than good if left free
six tells five that they can’t change. he’s already seeing his own history repeat itself, who knows how much more pain they’ll cause?
3b. six wants to “protect” five from herself
ugh
six wants to stop five from becoming more like the rest of them
3c. six doesn’t trust any of them
in piecing together what happened, a key piece of the mystery relies on who does six trust enough to inject him & five was correct in that he doesn’t really trust anyone on the ship.
