Carlos’ feather down grew frizzy and static-y with each drop of lightning rain. And this wasn’t the normal, natural stuff - some blasted supervillain decided it would be great to try to grew up the worst storm he could to take out the city’s power grid!

Worst. Weatherman. EVER! Carlos thought with little humor.

Today was supposed to be special. The numbers on his wrist counted down, and just minutes before it had been a perfect day to take lunch in the outside dining plaza near the power building.

Carlos hadn’t been following the numbers as closely now; any minute he’d see the person with the same numbers, but they both would miss each other because they’d both be busy trying to stay safe and out of the rain! The charge in Carlos’ down reflected the nerves and anger he felt as he begged for this menace to somehow be stopped, and that somehow Gizmoduck would be able to work around the dangerous electricity that would theoretically threaten the integrity of the suit.

I hope they have a Waddle social account, Carlos hoped.

1. both carry first aid packs. whenever they’re around each other, they notice new bruises, new wounds. for fenton, he worries and doesn’t want to be caught off guard. 

2. because they’re constantly busy with their hero jobs, they don’t have a lot of time for each other. that’s fine ! it’s odd how that works out, but they’re both okay with it. in that case, they spend a lot of time on phone calls. video calls are RARE because they don’t want to give away what they’re doing, but they do make sure to answer the calls no matter what.

3. when they are together, they like to spend the night in ! fenton is a terrible cook, so drake is better at the main course. if not, then they just order in ! nonetheless, fenton makes deserts. he’ll often include drake’s favorite pies in his rotation for the gizmoduck suit.

4. once they find out their identities, they’re hesitant about it in the beginning. of course, they realize that they can’t be the ones to stop from being the protector of their homes, so they result with working with each other. darkwing keeps the whole “ i hate gizmoduck “ shtick just for the facade when he’s in front of others to keep face. they work well when it’s just the two of them. ( think of that one scene in the beginning with elsatagirl and mr incredible bc that’s what i was thinking about. )

my god i remember these, they all tasted the same but the purple / pink one seemed to be grosser than the rest XD

I strongly remember the green one. It was after the live action grinch movie came out that i saw it advertised on tv. and me being a kid who wanted to eat everything, i begged my mom to buy it for me....and....it was a trip. I dont think i was able to process the taste because i corresponded the taste of ketchup so much with the colour red lmao!!!
