Nyintr is a planet that houses an unconventional monarchy-like rule over its subjects. Involved in time and space exploration, it's here where these species labeled Janllandis (for outsiders), Nyintirans are a curious species. They showcase extreme longitivity in age and it shows prevalent in height. A simple Nyintr year is 3650 Earth years past. With a day on Nyintr lasting for 5 earth years - luckily for humans that reside on Nyintr, they do not age the same rate since it is after all another day. Though having to be 30 to 35 means every day is five birthdays! How sweet! At least the eyes show their age if they were to return to Earth.

Some citizens are as over 2,722 ft tall and others are larger. The oldest to date are so large that unfortunately are too huge to reside there - seen as eldritch tall. This makes certain species like humans, gallifreyans, and others seem almost grain-like side by side. Which is a very good thing Nyintirans are a shapeshifting species. Specifically, it varies upon family and genetic backgrounds. To easily summarize it, they prefer to be titled as adaptive shapeshifting. Most Nyintirans are time sensitive due to the planet formerly being a time vortex to a star before solidfying itself with a strong gravitational pull to form a planet. It is only recently the locals discovered the sentience of the planet itself.

Base appearences vary upon the Nyintirans, in the royal family, their skin pigment are various blues, cool greens, violets, and dark browns. Facial structures however - still using the royal family as the example - are the earth equivalent of african, aboriginal, or black with a few south asian and indigenous. Because of the royal family and thei hybrid nature of being both Gallifreyan and Nyintiran, their base selves - if we stick with earth terminology - are in the category of black or person of color (abbrev. POC).

As mentioned earlier, they are ruled in a unconventional monarchy. The current ruling family is the Tavįàümńs. Generationally, going by the surname Benedies or the Benedie Royals. While most monarchal families are revolved around high status in genetic family trees or residing within said family tree via distabt cousins by marriage - the Benedie royals seek outside the expected/assumed boundaries. They marry and court off-worlders gallifreyans, humans, hybrids: if it's off world, its for them. The current ruler is Dowger Queen Evangeline Tavįàümń alongside her husband, the gallifreyan titled the Scientist. Though, he has the status of Emperor for yet another planet, he is married into the title Dowger King-Emperor. Evangeline's twin sister, Mariana, is Dowger Tsesarevich Mariana Tavįàümń.

Evangeline has four children with the flexible title, High King or High King. Their names, in order of initial recorded birth, are as follows: Allura, V, Vin and the Vigilante. Due to the monitored temporal interference of Great Queen V and Dowger Queen Evangeline, the birth order is currently as follows: Allura, Vin, V, and the Vigilante. Their titles are High Queen Allura, High King Vin, Great Queen V and Great Queen the Vigilante.

Despite the usage of their public names in accompany to their titles, their birth names are in their place on official Nyintiran documents. Each child have their own domain that resides on this planet, however, as of current times: this is all ruled by their parents and grandparents.

This particular royal family have intergrated different off world cultures and taboos to accommodate their spouses. Which others would frown upon, Nyintirans are - if not known for the blasé approach to bloodsport - rather open minded. Highly curious as well and all around open and accepting. As well as the multiple spouses sharing a title with their own freely given court.

As told, monogamy is rather rare - though not unheard of to be considered a taboo, not by any means - in terms of relationships within this species. This is probably to due to their lack of secrecy since they are also a telepathic species. They can speak but, they are mainly a telepathic species. Unlike the Gallifreyans who are a tactile telepathic species unless using a general word - the infamous verbal link 'contact' - Nyintirans do not need consent to enter one's mind. Similar to the species labelled as TARDISes or TT Capsules, if you can think, you are then known. Similar to if you can speak, you are then heard.

The languages they have are very nearly polyglot. Which makes translation circuits a tad obsolete for this species - they learn by hearing and reading and signing. Many of the technology there are adaptive for all. Many places that are rather not wheelchair accessible - places that quite frankly are unsafe for anyone to access - are accessible. This is also due to the sentient nature of the landmass on Nyintr. So if you wish to go splunking with a group of friends but you are medically bound by your bed - don't fret for you too can explore the forbidden caverns and fight for survival against the Crawlers! Neat!

Nyintirans are, as seen above, are not shy about gore and other serious topics that make some uncomfortable or fearful on Earth. However, if it is unconsentual, the perpetrator is usually mutilated. Even more dificult to lie when they can see and understand what the mind concocts. Deeply and swiftly investigated, there is a choice of prison for less severe and frowned up crimes.

Most Nyintiran prisons are actually more residential housing complexes so when one leaves, a job they had applied for or went online to graduate for, it is already available for them with an address for a furnished "house or apartment on hold" for them to reside. This however varies upon the crime.

Fighting or threatening a Nyintiran can become a mating ritual if the Nyintiran finds the threat attractive. Which is historically known to be off putting to some offworlders who are used to those tactics as a self-isolation method. Similar to a mating dance.

Nyintirans are very hard to kill, with only one success being recorded as accidental via weeping angel during the end of the last of the great time war. This is why mutilation by Nyintiran standards varies from the comparisons of other species. Bullets, blasters or other usual means that tend to be more effective in killing other species tend to fail for Nyintirans despite any Nyintirans trying their best to accomodate to "fit in" with their shapeshifting. On record, Nyintirans have more than one internal organ than the number of internal organs a Gallifreyan has - if we were to compare - but due to their natural shapeshifting, its possible the internal structure has changed.

In terms of offspring with off-worlders, Nyintirans and whoever they are mated with, the children are raised initially in Nyintiran culture and ways before integrating into the spouses' culture and life. For the royal family, specifically the offspring of the Dowger Queen and King-Emperor, their Nyintiran side is dormant with their Gallifreyan side being the forefront. However, since both species are time sensitive, it is possible that the children can feel the years go by. Which implies they are older than what is recorded and turn makes the queen and other family members older than what is on record. Hybrids of hybrids however - at least from what is recorded in terms of the royal family - can choose to fully become the introductory species than their birthright or even be both! Which is fascinating that the shapeshifting origin of said offspring can evolve in such a way.

This being said, infertility is a choice Nyintirans can adapt to. Mating with a Nyintiran or a hybrid offspring of a Nyintiran makes most if not all off-world infertility moot. The Nyintiran can shift in a way to birth a child if their partner are unable to do so or be the "giver" in the process. All that is needed is the genetic dna of their partner - varies upon touch to kissing or in other ways. Then the Nyintiran can shift internally or externally in the method commonly used for that planet so it will always be a Nyintiran birth. This is how the offspring of the Dowger Queen's were created post-off worlder curse. Yes, it is as silly (and / or horrific) but the Nyintiran doesn't feel the possible pain that is expected when seeing the sight of the process.

Children recieve the basic education seen on other worlds before added education - by the time they graduate college in Nyintiran culture, they are then thrusted into essentially pre-k in off worlder education systems. Which makes them overqualified on the subjects given in other schools but, this is to form connections off planet. They, in addition, learn body endurance - though this is for hybrids as Nyintirans are usually taught this in middle school biology. Which to off worlders would be titled as militaristic indoctrination and scientific experimentation. There are therapists for those that are more troubled by this in early development. However, one can opt out and be home schooled.

The planet's atmosphere is earth-like. The sky however is violet. Nyintr has five moons with the folowing names: Vyasm Mirusefa, Luha'er, Ovisi, Ya’kil, Sa’tckyav. Three suns - two that actually circulate the planet and the main sun of a blue star in the solar system they reside in. There are several languages but there are two languages - old language and current. It is known they have a religion but, joining it is unexplained by the locals.

Vehicles vary though some can be labeled as "motor vehicles" and "tt capsules" even though the names are different if asked. Considering Tardises are both a flora and being their own species, the term "vehicle" is too oversimplified. There is however a "garden" as their own continent on Nyintr formed after the marriage of the now Dowger Queen and Dowger King-Emperor.

International affairs such as war: Nyintirans tend to avoid it if asked. It is a political affair that involves the interference of the monarchy. If there is an attack on a royal, the rest will attack in turn unless dissuaded to act by the attacked royal. Juristiction is unlimited but, this isn't used by the royals themselves. Except those that travel off world.

Nyintr have longer seasonal holidays due to longer weather cycles.

Food on Nyintr tend to lean heavy in the surplus of it all. Though palettes differ over the years.

Initially, in ancient Nyintr, Nyintirans would consume people - though, not cannibalizing their own, just outsiders - when it was simply a tropical planet with temples praising each moon. At the time, this was before Gallifreyans harnessed time travel, let alone space exploration. More specifically, during their more magic-dominated years. Where there was chaos and yet it was free.

Vyasm Mirusefa was the first god the Ancient Nyintirans worshipped. A bountiful god, the food woulds be presented at the alter where it was required to eat as much as one offered to the entity. Vyasm Mirusefa represented alchemy, tranquility, sacrifice, curiosity, and abundance. The type of food usually given were (an over simplification) wheat, several spiced meats, deep violet wine, and the marked skin of an outsider. In appearence was nebulous in nature yet tend to mirror one's truest self. The fabric they wore however was not - dressed in silk interwove with autumn reeds. Their hair - or if none, a inticate golden headress engraved with key symbols that hint more of a monstrous form - were up in a near mimicry of moving tentacles tangled upon itself with a soft blue light emitting inbetween each moving thick strands. Eyes dark and lips stained in a neon blue with red along the corners of their mouth. Fingertips of ten per hand dipped in rustic red, yet glittered in silver. If one noticed the teeth, they are sharp and many, similar in number of a centipede's legs.

Luha'er was the second god the Ancient Nyintirans worshipped. They leaned heavily into mystery and celebration in the missing and or disappearance. Sometimes confused as a god of death, this god is better summarized as the god of memory, thoughts and the supernatural in terms of "astral planes" as actual domains one can co-exist alongside the present domain. [a very human yet very exact example that embodies what the god represents is the Earth film created in 1947 titled The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.] This is shown in a more holiday month annually on Nyintr titled 'The Rememberance of the Gone' for Terra speakers or 'Mys'n Mist Eve' for Nyintirans. Mys'n Mist Eve celebrates in what Ovisi doesn't expand upon - not the erasure but, the existence of what could be. Not of finality but of hope. Hope that can be could be and will be, would be if the lost are returned. This God's appearence is faceless, shown clutching where their face used to be in one hand and in another pouring a small glass vial. They have eight additional arms like wings holding different objects of memory. Depending on the artist, these objects are in reference to the artist's memory of such things like faces, objects, places, or mementos tied to them. The downside of this god is that, for Nyintirans, this god causes very hyper realistic hallucinations. Certain houses that worship or once worshipped this god tend to be affected genetically. This is due to the god being attached to the telepathy portion of Nyintirans tied to close relationship bonds ranging from romantic to platonic.

Ovisi was the third god the Ancient Nyintirans worshipped. This particular god was Death, though not by traditional assumption of the concept and the state of Death. Rather, this god was the representation of the erasure of realities, universes, timelines, and whole existences that had never come to pass or eventually will. Those that worshipped this god tend to look to them in times where there is doubt of one's self, doubt in one's own mind, existence, and time displacement in general. Their alter is adorned smaller things, usually unable keys, defunct devices, wilted flowers, tattered clothing or fabrics, and at one point hair from worshippers or anyone with animal hair using to tie bouquets of wheat and hay. In appearence, they would be designed like a hologram or a tree, galactic in size. A person sitting as if balancing on one leg. Their robes designed more like decayed leaves and moss, where in their left hand showed their face and their right hand showing time with their head twisted into a dark void as veins and tree roots crawl out to make up for thick - natural afro styled hair adorned in both wilted flowers, dewdrop beads, and red orange lilies. Their arms scrawled of names of dead and birth. The void visage is usually masked with a bull skull. On celebrated days, one would eat mango-like fruit, raw cocoa melted into a syrup, and orzo-like pasta. This is joined with a hypervodka with violet absinthe substance while the room is full of a hallucinohgen steam.

Ya’kil was the fourth god the Ancient Nyintirans worshipped. Represented as a blood god in texts, this god appeared to others with a rotating face with tusks, long claws, a dragon's tail and the body of a bear. Their fur glittered in bronze to gold, their claws rusted yet polished copper. Most notable feature was their eyes - glittered like crushed crystals. The faces that rotated were faces yet to come and simultaneously who they would never get to meet for the worshipper or guest. They represented death, violence and passion. In some circles, they also represented war and open communication. However, the people who worshipped this god and those that have tales of said god, were kind. Careful and gentle. On specific memorial days, the type of food to leave at this temple was through ice cream, flavored shave ice, and ice sculpture of something attached to the one that had passed away in varying circumstances. Despite being a god of fire, it had found home in cold donations.

Sa’tckyav was the fifth god the Ancient Nyintirans worshipped. This particular god represented Time and was notably referred to as a herald of interference. Those that were travellers that took part in the hallmarks of said god was said to be a priestess or priest of said being. Currently, there isn't enough information when this was written however, this is due to time traveller's not going farther back to find out more. Must be updated at a later date for food, appearence, and how the god affects the society on Nyintr. There are multiple records of this god being the origin of the Nyintirans age - shielded from the Dark Times' era of the Kotturuh "infection" - as well as the galactic-sector-breaking of time hypersensitivity. Sa'tckyav in most temple illustrations is shown in entangled embrace with Ovisi and [Redacted].

The courtship of a Nyintiran is heavily dependent on both physical touch and an open mind - an open mental connection, not in the figurative sense of the phrase. This can be boiled down to similar interests or even being introduced to a new technique of getting something done quicker. The longer the connection holds, the more intertwined they are with their suitor. This is also referred to as a "bond" by outsiders, despite this is not a shackling to the ones involved. When translated from their language, this is called a "wasting", written as wystng. Effects of a rejected wystng include reality bending hallucinations, starvation, dehydration, self-mutilation, and lack of control of their shifting abilities, and clear skin - seeing the inside of the anatomy, not clean skin, which is the act of skin hygene.

In terms of interspecies relationships, this is a much heightened connection because of the effects of the wystng. Nyintiran or Nyintiran Hybrids tend to having to use much more to make up for the lack of the outsider's telepathic strength and in some cases, lack of touch. In extreme cases, the Nyintiran in question goes as far as feeling what their suitor feels to the point of being in events they were never physically presently for. Going through such event so vividly, it was as if those involved in said event were residing in the same place as the Nyintiran. This is due to the time sensitivity nature of the species. It feels very real, to the point of it being part of their reality - even if they are aware it is not apart of their reality at all but just the experience of their suitor. This tends to bleed over into multidimensional realities for the Nyintiran, dealing with such events even their suitor has not actually experienced. While some are good, there are some that are rather horrible and while their present suitor has never or will ever go through such a reality, the Nyintiran in question, will in their place. Whether they like it or not.

The extreme parts of such a thing will have the Nyintiran attempt to cut out the wystng in a more literal sense - by surgically removing the three veins that connect to their brain stems. This could place the Nyintiran in a comatose state but, it slows the healing for the wound to make up for healing the mind. If their suitor also is a species of the telepathic kind, this goes as far as them being able to see the one hurting the Nyintiran and act accordingly. Talking them out of it being not real or imaginary does not work since they can still feel the cloth of them, skin, smell, even details that the suitor couldn't fathom ever remembering or knowing.

If that species is not a telepathic species - or rather a very small bit of telepathy (ie human), the Nyintiran would gravitate to their suitor. A need to be around them as an anchor to ground themselves into the reality they are more familiar with. Even if the initial suitor is unable to help the Nyintiran, their literal presence seem to keep them alive. The hallucinations, however, do not go away by normal means. It takes at least three earth months for it to go away completely.

Pertaining to hybrids, such as the offspring of Dowger Queen and Dowger King-Emperor, like Gallifreyan-Nyintiran: this could be even worse for the children. It could be breaking reality in terms of having very specific interactions to people that their suitors have not met or simply do not exist in their current universe - and vice versa. The hallucination can be as real as holding a phone or even a hug, lifiting one from the air. The hallucinations are treated as real citizens of the reality they inhabit to the Nyintiran - interacting with those that are (by all intents and purposes) to anchor them. Depending on the spouses, this could vary if all try to cut the wysting on their end or if one attempts to do it by themselves. This isn't the reality in these cases due to the lack of interaction of the varying species and the exposure of the time vortex, other events, etc. In their case, the royal ones will have to be willing to get all their spouses and lovers together in one room but, this would require all to be time sensitive with access to their own time vehicle of choice.

The Dowger King-Emperor and Great Queen the Vigilante are a prime example of what happens if the wysting is cut via death of their suitor. While the Dowger King-Emperor is Gallifreyan, the sudden accidental death of the Dowger Queen will throw the suitor into a state of inconsolable isolation and mania to ressurrect the Nyintiran by any means. There are further studies in the past that it is usually the other way around, yet this is a first of an outsider - a telepathic outsider - acting in the ways of a Nyintirian. With Great Queen the Youngest, the eve of that suitor's death tend to haunt them - their hallucinations of said suitor becoming more and more real every day. As if their mind is willing them to exist once more. However, due to the nature of the late Great King Johnathan Avery Smith, it is possible this is an ability untapped of the royal family. After all, Great Queen the Younger was able to will a once-dead child back to life - despite the propaganda that the child was of a reality where Nyintr was lost during the Last Great Time War.

However, not all is lost. In many cases of the wystng, it is quite loving or not as extreme in the previous cases. it depicts the strong unbreakable connection between the two. as mentioned in the previous articles in terms of relationships, not all are romantic in nature. A wystng can be whatever the connection the parties involved are - from enemies to simply acquaintances. It all depends on how invested the Nyintiran is in the relationship.

Not much is known for Nyintirans and other supernatural species in terms of the Wystng other than what is recorded by the royal offspring of the Dowger Queen and her King-Emperor. More research is required.

The Nyintiran anatomy is a humorous yet highly adaptive one when it comes to mating both within and outside of their species. Nyintirans eat a lot to make up for height. Due to how large they are, externally and internally, they are essentially easy to explore like one would to trek across continents or undiscovered planets. Some Nyintirans shift their body to even house civilizations if need be - be it along their skin or even internally - shift organs to accommodate for environment expansion.

Feeding a Nyintiran, especially if they are a direct hybrid - indirect means in this case that the usual non-nyintiran gene is the dominant gene - means that on average a Nyintiran hybrid eats a total of 5 to 7 billion metric tons of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the occasional snack or two. If shifted down to a tiny species height, which is most If not all interplanetary life, they at least consume an average of a simple billion metric ton of food. Which - for measuring fans - is the equivalent of Earth's entire population of humanity's joint food consumption. Yes, babies are counted.

Nyintirans, if physically explored (which is given to a very select few depending on the Nyintiran), find this a very intimate experience. One would also have to pack for nourishment along with other necessities to survive the journey to and back out. This shows that they are fully loved, a much more solid staple of how one truly loves said Nyintiran. If a Nyintiran hasn't invited a lover, a spouse or an unlabeled intimate partner to endure this process, it is less to do with the anxiety of scaring or scarring their partner and more to do with a seeded or more visual doubt of said partner. Especially if said partner has internal doubts about the relationship in it of itself. If the partner doubts or fears or even disgust and discomfort in this, so too does the Nyintiran have doubts. Becomes just distant or at the very least, become less romantic and more aromantic or even strictly platonic. There has to be a risk in the love of a Nyintiran's partner of choice - the partner will have to risk losing themselves to the point of blindly self isolating from all they know to the Nyintiran themselves (though this is a staple side effect for those that are intially monogamous in other species relationships that aren't evidently a physical wonder). It all ties back to opening one's self up.

Also, dress for the weather. Some Nyintirans have biomes of weather changes internally.

If a Nyintiran shifts a present mating appendage for a species (humans, humanoids and gallifreyans such as male, female or agender [something Nyintirans are more akin to]), it is more than likely a tiny version of what a Nyintiran does during either given or taking penetration. A Nyintiran, if given a 'male' appendage and is penetrating, once inside - the phallus opens up along the shaft and small tendons emit from the side that latch on through friction inside the walls of their partner. Since Nyintirans are a shapeshifting and heavily telepathic species, the tendons act to read more or less the subconcious surface level desire of the partner (either they want children to bear, for their partner to bear, to not bear children right now or with them). Acting as a fail safe when the condom fails. The tendons also secrete a non-allergen lube-like substance. This happens regardless. If given a female appendage, the tendons tend to latch onto either tongue or (if one has their own appendage such as a tentacle) other solid or non-solid organic material. Fingers, very hyperspecific here, human fingers are the only ones who will not feel the tendons latch. Instead, they will feel a grove (similar to a carving) inside.

Nyintirans have several shifting stomachs depending on genealogy.

A fun thing about Nyintirans is when there are alternate versions of themselves as a species - be if they are a group of superclusters, galaxies, vortexes, supermassive black holes (or in some cases, supermassive white holes), wormholes, stardust or eldritch, folklore fae, land mass, planets or religious alternatives of demons or angels or gods or even animals - their minds immediately are greeted with memories of the universe seen by said alternate self.

For example: The Vigilante has the memories of her alternate self that died after her daughter was born - all the adventures as if she too had did these things herself.

For example: The Vigilante can have the memories of her alternate self had that version of her regenerated into another face. Despite this never happening with her.

As far as Nyintirans go, there is no them vs self - they are together as one and the exact same - just choices the other haven't done. This can not be said the same as a Time Lord meeting an alternate self - who is by their own right never themselves but their own person where one alternate choice instead reshapes the reality of both the self and the universe around them. Just another time lord with warped memories, if one sees this through a narrow-minded lens.

By all accounts, regardless of visual physical appearances and their own actual history back home - they did those things. If the alternate version of themselves killed someone or ruled over a country or is a klutz when shopping: the 'og' version killed that someone or ruled over that country or shopped like that to. It is not a 'but I could've done this' or a 'would've if I didn't have/did xyz' - it is what they did. End of.

If a Nyintiran uses the phrase 'another me' to someone not a Nyintiran, it is to make the not-Nyintiran falsely confortable. They did eat you in that universe, they can feel you digest in separate stomachs down to the bone marrow and simultaneously, they have not because you are beside them.

They know what you taste like in that context and - depending on the Nyintiran - they would want seconds.

But it's socially rude.

when highly aroused, Nyintirans tend to speak a combined language based on the three countries that surround them on Nyintr: Birth state and those that are adjourning.

For instance: if intially speaking Runyirish, and the countries speak Shẽĩian-Runyirish and the nearest country speaks Akaw̃ndé̃ian, then they'll speak all three as a combination. Due to the nature of the languages, they all flow as a purr or a tad 'la la' depending on who's speaking. Avoids confusion and slip ups unless dealing with an off-planet language.

Vigil, as our example, would speak Runyirish-Lehå̃ian-Ksutnôian [interchangably Natsutan as a more 'relaxed' version] since (with her voice claim same as her fc) works well with the lilt of gaelic and the swindon accent under the usual clicks needed.

why do closed captions keep pretending english is the only intelligible language? when a character speaks spanish what exactly is forcing your hand to transcribe it as "[speaks foreign language]" rather than "Si"

This intersection of Anglocentric bias + ableism and audism makes my blood boil.

People commonly defend this practise with "But the audience isn't meant to understand!" or "It's inconsequential!", neither of which actually address a) their assumption that the [ideal Anglo] audience wouldn't understand, or, perhaps most crucially in the context of CCs, b) that this is a failure of accessibility. A hearing person who speaks that "foreign" language will know exactly what's being said. A deaf or HoH person – the people CCs are primarily intended for – who speaks or reads that language should therefore have the exact same opportunity to understand. It very much feels to me like an assumption that we deaf and HoH people couldn't possibly understand any language but English, so there's no point in getting those languages transcribed for us. I hope it goes without saying how profoundly audist that sentiment is.

There is also, I think, a profound misunderstanding or ignorance of Deaf culture at play. Which is to say, CCs in English-language media are written with not only the assumption that the audience will be native English speakers, but that all d/Deaf and HoH people speak English as their first language, so all other languages are as supposedly foreign to them as they are for hearing people. But sign languages are their own distinct language. BSL, ASL, ISL, AusLan, NZSL etc ≠ English (and are indeed different from one another), LIS ≠ Italian, JSL ≠ Japanese, and so on. So, if you follow the captioners' logic to its natural extreme, all non-signed dialogue is "foreign" to many d/Deaf and HoH people and should therefore be labelled [speaks foreign language] / [speaks English] / [speaks own language] / etc. – which is, obviously, a terrible idea that perfectly highlights all the biases implicit in closed captioning.

TL;DR: your accessibility feature fails in its function as soon as you fail to transcribe all spoken languages.

Quick reminder that if you live in an EU Member State, those captions are not compliant with the European Accessibility Act and you can report the platform or company! EU folks please do this if you can; forcing multinational companies to comply with the EAA has a very good chance of making them simply standardize compliance, even in counties that don't have a version of this law.
