This is an exercise I do regularly. I redraw something by an artist I admire as a way to see how they solve problems in their work. I generally have a few of these laying around the studio. It's a good way to get warmed up for inking. Elvgren's work has always amazed me. His pinups usually tell a story. This is going from one his oil paintings to a an ink wash drawing. A bit of an interesting transition. I've also added digital color.
