elvhenphoenix replied to your post “every christian man on okcupid is like “both creationism and evolution...”
I think religion should be taught in school but from an anthropological pov - looking at all religions is an important aspect of looking at cultures around the world and as long as the teacher remained objective and didn't press religion onto anyone as anything more than a field of study I don't see the harm :)
yeah! i totally agree w that. i think it’s important for people to know about other religions and to understand them so we don’t have people fearmongering about them. but i feel like when some christians are like “they should teach creationism!” they mean, like, just in a christian perspective which. idk. if you want your children to have a personal relationship with your particular religion, i think they should learn that from the parent or from their church and stuff.

Everything had been fine. Until it wasn’t. Until some asshole with a grudge had decided the best thing they could possibly do with their time was to shoot the Inquisitor in the stomach. Oh, and the cherry on the cake? It was someone she had been sent to protect.
song rec song rec song rec! 'Reprieve' by Anadel :D also pretty much any of their stuff is golden for Dragon Age elves!
Oooh, thank you! <333
hey! have a quick question: where do you see Keela and Solas living in the future where they stayed together? In a city, or in the countryside....? Thank you! :D
GASP, an unsolicited question for me?! My day has been made. :D
I see them living in the capitol city within a new elven state. They’re not rulers(because I do believe Solas would not let anyone make him a king/god/whatever again) but they’re important leaders living it up in a big villa type of thing trying to help their people. I don’t think Solas would care, but Keela would have a hard time going back to a country/Dalish/rural lifestyle after everything(unless it was in like....Mr Darcy’s huge mansion lol).
Andaran atish'an, hahren! I wondered whether I could ask you a question? I remember you saying a while back that the elvhen language is a 'language of intent'? Could you potentially clarify that? Does it mean that as long as the basic words are there, it's translatable? Ma serannas.
I don’t recall stating that it was a ‘language of intent’. If you could link me to the post you’re talking about, the rest of the post would probably allow me to answer you. If I did say something like that, it was possibly specific to the situation I was talking about.
I’ve stated that Elvhen can be poetically inferential (in that what the sentence truly means is hidden in the poetic meaning of that sentence). but I don’t recall stating “language of intent.”
