The Carolina Theatre of Durham does double features like that almost every Friday night! And have been for eighteen years! Here’s the rest of this season’s (January-June 2017) shows, and here are next season’s (July-December 2017) shows.
Season passes (for July-Dec) will be on sale stating this Friday (May 26th). The pass is $75, and will get you into all the Friday Night Retro Double Features (so not July’s RetroEpics or RetorMusicals showings, and September’s Splatterflix). Still, that’s 18 double features, so 36 movies -- that’s less than $2.10 per flick! (Since it’s normally $9 to get in, the pass more than pays for itself after nine double features.)
They have a good deal on concessions, to: $10 for a large popcorn & large soda, which comes with one free refill on both. And there’s a 10-15 minute intermission between the two movies, so you can use that time to get your refill!
