Sujeong didn’t know which emotion was actually suitable for her at the moment, but she did feel a mixture of both, fine and not so fine. Like some part of her felt light-headed and dizzy and she wanted to puke all over the ever changing colours of the neon-lighted floor that would probably get her and her friend kicked out later. And she would most likely get blamed later on after all of them were sober enough. She blinked a few times, trying to focus back her eyesight after she was lost in thought. Sujeong was facing the dance floor, sitting on a stool as her friend was sitting next to her, leaned against the counter, elbows on the surface with his fingers wrapped loosely around a glass shot. Her dark eyes scanned his face before roaming over the clearing, where people were laughing and dancing with each other -grinding would be an appropriate word he thought, the way people touch each other could make her ancestors roll in their graves- loud obnoxious music blared from the speakers, and she could feel the vibration of it to her core. She tugged on the collar of her black shirt, trying to get some air after she drank god knows how many shots, the humidity of the room was getting to her. She glanced at the glass in her hand idly, before chugging it whole with just a gulp. Oh yeah, Mijoo was definitely going to give her a talk later. The rebellious strike in her was actually puffing with pride.After drowning her last shot, Sujeong quickly ordered another drink. The bartender was skeptical but nonetheless filled her order. She reached her hand out to take the shot, but instead of drowning it down her throat she slid it over to her friend with a small smirk playing on her lips. ❝You’re still not drunk enough. Here have another one. ❞ Sujeong didn’t know which emotion was actually gleaming in his eyes as he shifted his gaze over to her, but she could tell that it was a mixture of amusement and exhaustion. He looked like some part of him felt light-headed and dizzy and all he wanted was to puke all over the ever changing colours of the neon-lighted floor that would probably get him and her kicked out later.❝Oppa. Don’t you dare puke now, I am not going to clean the mess. And by mess– I mean you.❞ Her words caused his lips to quirk up into a full smile before he snatched the shot away and drowned it in one big gulp. The strong burning taste lingered down his throat as a chuckle erupted from his parted lips. ❝Don’t worry, I am not going to puke. At least not now–,❞ His few words came out as a hoarse whisper, so quiet it was barely heard. exhaustionHer lips curved up in a grin and she leaned closer so that she could manage to talk loud enough over the music in the background. ❝Want another shot?❞ He looked over his shoulder, and she took the evident excitement in his growing smile as a yes.
