I had a near death experience and it like unlocked parts of my hidden away memories of various random things and for some reason it unlocked a memory about you mentioning something about having to cut up cardboard boxes and at the time I was gonna send an ask about why you were cutting the boxes but then forgot to do that and now I want to know why you were cutting up boxes
the only problem is I have no idea if you ever mentioned anything about cutting up boxes or if I completely made that up am I going fucking insane
I used them for an art project (my graduation piece!) comprised of 200 cardboard panels, a laptop full of image files, and a fistful of dead leaves alongside some feathers.
It was was admittedly a messy thing, dealing with themes of loss and the struggle to circumvent it. Does ignoring the approaching End make it hurt less when it comes? Is there a point in trying to preserve something that will inevitably be Lost?
<Survivors' Scriptures of a Waning World>
(I love that so many people interacted with it by looking through the bag and scattering the panels all around after pulling them out)
Tumblr can't handle too many images, so here are some of my favorite panels throughout the 4 arcs.
Arc 1: Change and Caution, Love and Loss
Arc 2: Research and Rescue
Arc 3: Trade, Trauma, and Trust
Arc 4: The End of the World
So, to answer your question, yes, you are completely wrong and I have never had the need to cut up a bunch of cardboard boxes. You are indeed going crazy. Stop making things up.
