Stranger Things really making me feel the passage of time this season. All the boys standing up to the bullies instead of keeping their head down made me so proud. I felt every single one of those punches. All of them chose to protect the little sheep, they're keeping their Hellfire promise. A few shots of a film reel of Will and Mike from when they were so little and I start crying like a drunk aunt at the family gathering. I'm crying as I write this post. The children have grown.

You realize a show is good when every character's awful in their own unique way and there's just no way of guessing. "I know I hurt you," baby girl that list is so long I can't even begin to predict who killed you
I mean, obviously the girls are crazy, but I am never not thinking about the shadow lurking in the corner of Jackie's dream and how she's still herself in it. When we see her again, it's through Shauna's eyes, who's insane with guilt and grief so we assume it's not really Jackie but Shauna punishing herself through her. But then she appears in yet another dream and this time it's not only Shauna, there are other girls seeing her too and Jackie is still mean in ways we don't recognize.
"Sheep don't bite", but Jackie's hand is amongst those holding back Van when she tries to escape from the fire. Jackie's the one to invite Akilah to play a game she's not interested in and looks pleased when she gets it in one. It's Jackie who inflicts a deadly wound on Shauna. If there are two realities, could you be dead in one and alive in the other? Sometimes you play the game like you're a natural, sometimes the game takes the wrong turn even when you seemingly do everything right and sometimes the consequences of the game reach you even if you're not playing.
