THE TRAILBLAZER DOES NOT THINK OF THEMSELF AS EASY. no, not at all. contrary to the belief of others when it comes to how they like their people, they can be rather choosy. they like picking their BATTLES, oftentimes having to reevaluate their feelings first even if emotions come faster than their mind can humanly comprehend. though, in all honesty, it is not like ERUDITION is something that they are blessed with. hell, they sincerely doubt that the droidhead would ever dare to glance at their direction with how their mind works. or, well, with how it BARELY works.
but, it took less than a second for them to feel something in their chest. the words that they speak being caught in their throat while something FLUTTERS deep within. wide-eyed, stelle stammers. her fingers that caress warm skin being ultimately distracting that they believe that they have STEERED away from the topic entirely to talk about some gibberish. what is it that is so important anyway ? too mesmerized to try and jog their memory.

Forcing his head up to look her way, he couldn’t help but smile at the sight of her.

It’d been nearly two years since he’d gotten married to Cassima, and visiting hadn’t necessarily been high on his priority list. No, not when he had to learn all of the laws of a foreign land he was suddenly partially in charge of. It was his first time home in a while, and it was about as daunting as he thought it’d be.
