With fall just around the corner, pumpkin beer season is officially making its return, and there's no brand more synonymous with the category than Elysian Brewing.
Long before pumpkin became a seasonal staple, Elysian helped define the category with the debut of Night Owl in 1997, one of the first pumpkin beers ever brewed in the U.S. Nearly three decades later, the brewery has crafted more than 100 unique pumpkin beers since, pioneered the world's first Imperial Pumpkin Ale, Great Pumpkin, and has become the country's largest producer of pumpkin beer, earning a loyal following among beer enthusiasts year after year.
This fall, Elysian is bringing back its fan-favorite Pumpkin Variety Pack, available nationwide in a 12-pack featuring four cans of Night Owl, Punkuccino, and Great Pumpkin each, giving consumers the opportunity to experience three distinct takes on pumpkin beer in one package:
Night Owl: A very drinkable Pumpkin Ale brewed with pumpkin puree and juice and spiced in conditioning with ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice
Available in both 6-pack cans and bottles as well
Punkuccino: A Pumpkin Ale with the attitude of a world-weary barista, Punkuccino evokes a coffee toddy with just a shake of cinnamon and nutmeg
Great Pumpkin: The world’s first Imperial Pumpkin Ale. Boasting intense aromas of pumpkin with sugar and spice on the nose, Great Pumpkin is a delectably smooth fall brew that pours a deep copper color with a ghostly white head

Tickets go on sale on August 5 at www.elysianbrewing.com/node/939 for the 22nd Annual Great Pumpkin Beer Festival, which returns to Elysian Brewing's newly renovated Capitol Hill brewpub on Saturday, October 3. Reimagined in a new single-day format, this year's festival honors the legacy of Elysian's original pub while introducing an immersive experience that celebrates more than two decades of pumpkin beer innovation.
The Great Pumpkin Beer Festival has become a must-attend event for craft beer enthusiasts and Seattlelites, drawing sold-out crowds each year with more than 60 pumpkin and fall harvest beers from breweries across the country.
Beyond the beer, guests can expect the signature experiences that have made GPBF a fall tradition, including:The iconic giant pumpkin keg tapping, where a several-hundred-pound pumpkin is carved, scorched, filled with beer, and tapped live Live DJ sets throughout the day A festive costume contest Local food trucks The fan-favorite pumpkin pie-eating showdown Unexpected surprises that unfold throughout the festival
