Joshua's growth is actually crazy in Final Fantasy 16. Like this doted little prince
witnesses his father get beheaded right in front of him, practically gets brutally murdered himself right after, falls into coma for 5 years, gets raised by a religious cult, and then basically with no close friends or family has to navigate a world full of wars, curses and aliens.
And still he somehow grows into one of the most stable, kind and reliable adults I've seen in any fiction??? Clive is (understandably) an absolute mess for most of the game, and Joshua just rocks up like everything is under control at all times and nothing can stop him??? Even while literally dying from storing an alien god in his own chest???
Just how good are the Undying at looking after traumatized teenagers???
save some of that self-confidence to the rest of us plz
Like, how - after everything this guy has had to go through - is his one weakness that he hates carrots lmao
