In general though, it depends. If I just want to quickly crank out some tokens, then I use Token Stamp 2. This lil guy:

With custom borders and masks, which I found through Pilot NET and were made by Valk. I don't know his tumblr, or I would link him. The option for those is here-
Pilot NET is the Lancer Discord, and has various community resources and assets. I would definitely recommend joining if you're interested in that sorta thing, but there's also just a lot of people who like talking about Lancer.
The custom borders are a bit thicc for me though, so sometimes I do other tokens through gimp. Its just a bit more flexible, although a liiiittle more time consuming.
