i was thinking about the idea of toons being actors, made to be on the silver screen. all the things we see of them are things they acted in. but why would they act in things that traumatize them? and that has me thinking. imagine if, since toons, in this case, are made to be characters in a story, imagine if acting was an outlet for the pain they go through?
and of course, this has me thinking about epic mickey. toons are nothing but actors. they cannot change anything. and epic mickey two was rushed as all hell. the story was changed drastically. imagine if the story changes included stretching the truth so far it becomes false.
imagine if the wastelanders had to watch as their story becomes a hollow shell of what it once was. watching as capitalism drains the life out of the story of their lives. watching themselves become forgotten once more, and what is remembered of them is barely true. they can't change anything. toons are only actors, after all. mere devices for humans' entertainment. nobody else will ever have the chance to understand. stuck back in the purgatory they've lived in for decades on end, however many years free nothing a mere, temporary glimpse into what they missed, what they could have had. but they can't change anything. toons are only actors, after all.

After a month of working on this, it’s finally complete! I don’t have the tools for digital art at home, so that’s why it’s taken so long!!
